I typically love Lieu's, but this day it was a bit disappointing due to the slow service and general seating approach. Granted, it was Father's Day, so there was quite a large crowd. The only real complaint I have is the way seating was managed. We waited about 45 minutes to get seated. While waiting, we noticed many who arrived later than us (much later!) get seated first. And each of these seatings had more than two people, so it appeared that the restaurant was giving preference to larger groups. This makes sense from an economic perspective, as a table of four would clearly generate more income than a table of two. But it does not respect the customer when this approach is used. Also, there was a sign on the door stating that the lunch menu was not in place for the day. So customers were required to order off the dinner menu, which of course generates more income.Bottom line: food was great as always, but the the service and preferential treatment of groups larger than two were clearly a disappointment.
I called early this week to reserve a large, more private table at Lieu's for a birthday party for two women at my church. When I reserved the room, I was told that it could accommodate a total of 12 people. We had 10 RSVP, so I though everything was good. When I arrived about 5 minutes early with a few other members of the group, the hostess refused to seat us because our entire party was not present. About 20 minutes later, 8 members of our party of 10 had arrived, and I asked to be seated as two of our party members were not sure when they could arrive and didn't realize they had to arrive right at 6PM to be seated. As we walked back, the hostess refused to allow our party to sit at the private table in the back I had called and reserved. She was having the wait staff move the drinks/waters/silverware to another table of the same size in the bigger dining room. There were very few patrons in the restaurant at the time and actually for the whole evening, so space wasn't an issue. The hostess insisted that she could "not allow us to have this table with 10 chairs as our party had only 8." This was even though our other two members were on their way, but did not arrive exactly on time. I was humiliated in front of my friends as I had tried to make this a special event for my church group, and I was treated like I was attempting to do something wrong or deceptive by asking for the room I had reserved. I will never eat here again. This was very poor customer service, and there was no reason for it.
If I could give zero stars, I would! My family and I visited this establishment 6/14/2022 for a simple dinner. We’ve come here many times before and have never had a problem. This particular time, two of our minor guest ordered Singapore noodles from the menu. They were under the impression they would be the same as Singapore noddles they had from a different Chinese restaurant but they were not. We requested they take the dishes back and swap them out for something different, something more edible and the manager (a pregnant lady) refused and instead forced me to pay for the two dishes and was extremely rude about it. I have never experienced such poor treatment in a restaurant in my life. After being so unsatisfied, we asked that the service charge be removed and the pregnant manager said to that request “you better be glad the server is ok with this or you would be paying it” she also threatened to get the police involved and it was all because of her poor show of customer service. My family and I are due an apology and I am due a refund for the 2 plates that were not eaten. We will never visit this restaurant again…diners beware!

This is not the average fast food take-out place. Every dish is designed to tickle your taste buds with real Chinese cooking, distinctive and delicious. Yes, the price is higher but this place is a must when you want really good Chinese food.
After 4 years of continously coming here I can honestly say they are always excellent and consistent, bravo!___________________Without a doubt one of the best lunch values for your money. Food is always good, they care about keeping the place clean, service is friendly and prices are fair.
The food is usually very good. Like most restaurants now, short staffing creates longer wait times, less personal attention and a more hurried feel.We were overall happy with the service and meal but the serviceable was noticeably down a notch from our last visit. Not bad, just not as good as before covid.Overall a good place for better than "takeout" Chinese food.
Been a loyal customer since 2006 when they opened and the quality of my experience here keeps dwindling as each visit passes. They changed owners, chefs, and cooks way too many times and the quality of the service isn’t the same as it used to be. Today, however, made all the difference for me and not in a good way. The different delicate flavors of each authentic dish we ordered now merges into one: salty brown sauce. The fried rice dish normally well seasoned and garnished with onions, meats, and eggs has now been simplified a fry rice from fast food to go After having confronting the cooks about this change, they denied that there ever was a change and that I was severely mistaken. I sincerely hope they pick back up on the old recipes that was used before that brought this restaurant its popularity or I will not be returning ever again. So sad and disappointed
We've been twice now for lunch, and we'll be back again. The wonton soup is exceptional, and the fried rice and lo mein are also excellent. We were seated quickly and waited on by experienced and pleasant wait staff. I highly recommend this restaurant.
So much food it was our first time eating here..The food was amazing I had the almond chicken which was delicious...
