Excellent food and service is the best! Crab Rangoon, Cucumber appetizers, pan fried noodles, seafood soup, pepper beef. Fried banna dessert. Also nice size bar area.
The food was delicious and it didn't take too long to come after we ordered. We shared a plate and we had left overs to eat a little later. We ordered the Thai curry shrimp and chicken with brown rice and egg rolls. You should get this food if you're thinking about it.
Service is great but food quality was not good. I visited Greenville location two weeks ago. Their food was great but I didn't like the occasional odor in the restaurant. That is why I went to this location. I found out that they are not connected though they use same name and i was told this location is owned by original owners. Place, appearance, etc were good but food quality is not good. I ordered same dish to compare, chicken hoisin sauce. Too much soy sauce and chicken was tough. My wife ordered mofutofu. It was not good either.
Way better than I expected, because I tried several times at the woodruff location. I had stopped going. I don't know if this location just has better cooks... but definitely an improvement from the old location
Food was amazing. Love the family style. We were able to try so many different things. Can't wait to go back.
Tried Lieu's for the first time tonight and loved all the food we got but the waitress seemed to forget that she was serving us, it was a long wait in-between asking for water and then receiving it (it wasn't a busy night for them and the table next to ours was having the same issue so it wasn't just us) and then after the food came we didn't see her for another 20-30 minutes and we had long since been ready for the check. Will try this place again tho because the food was good.
The food was great AFTER I had to send it back to modify it as I had originally ordered. Our appetizer never came. Our food came and still no appetizer, and once we questioned about the status of it, the response was “Oh, do you still want it?”. When we approached the manager about the issue they could only offer us a %50 discount on the appetizer that they forgot. Fine. But seriously, I feel like they could have compensated for the inconvenience of having starving, and impatient children. I definitely don’t recommend the service.
I always get the Sesame chicken and it never disappoints. Most places you go, the breading is soft and pre made. With Lieu's, the breading is crunchy and you can tell right away it's cooked fresh. Friendly staff, waitress was friendly and professional. My favorite restaurant for Asian cuisine in town.
Such a bummer. We love Lieu’s and have for years! Always great service and excellent food. We just heard that they had sold and their new location was on Pelham so of course we wanted to go there. What a disappointment, the ambiance was cold and looked tired, the waiter could not have cared less and couldn’t even be bothered to smile or be friendly, the king poa chicken was more dense with peanuts than chicken, the place was very loud with staff all watching tv and talking loudly. There was no reason at all to return. We’ll be heading back to the old place and hoping we have the same experience we’ve allays had there.
Absolutely incredible food, staff was nice and courteous. Waitress was very attentive. My only issue was how long it took to get food. 25+ mins on a Sunday. And yes it was the Pelham location.
