Larkinâs is always on our list of tried and true restaurants. It is reliably excellent! My husband got the elk tenderloin and said it was great. To compare, weâve had elk in Wyoming and he said this was better. I, as always, got the Chilean sea bass and it was as wonderful as ever. Wait staff was attentive but not intrusive. An excellent birthday dinner!

We had a ribeye and crab cakes along with baked potato and Brussel sprout hash. Appetizers for us was their she crab soup. The steak was cooked well and tasted great as did the Brussel sprout hash. Unfortunately the crab cakes were too salty. In addition, the she crab soup was watery not creamy. We did ask about the soup and were told they had a new recipe and the waiter told us he had let the chef know about the crab cakes. No one from management nor the kitchen came and talked with us. The waiter was excellent as was the front desk personnel. With the amount it costs to go here, not sure if I would take another chanceâ¦
