I was pleasantly surpised by the food here. I had a common gyro with fries. The fries comes with the order. I took it to go, but waited inside while they prepared my order. The hostess was very friendly, she took care of me promptly. I didn't have to wait long for my order; I walked in and ordered it, I didn't order in advance. The prices were reasonable for such fresh and tasty product. The place has a casual vibe, but slightly more upscale, not uptight. They have a bar, tables inside and outside. I did get to see them light a dish on fire... don't know what that was, but I feel curious now to know what it is and to taste it. I would visit again.

Delicious food! Great environment - cool vibe kinda place. Very friendly and excellent service. We got octopus and zucchini fries for appetizers and they were both delicious. For our meal we all got the chicken kabobs and fries. Sooooo delicious! ? (I was so into the food I forgot to take a picture of the kabobs)Even the gin and tonic I had was exceptional.Highly recommend and will definitely be back!

Great place! Highly recommend! Our first time here. Atmosphere is family chic and casual yet sophisticated. I mean Greek family with photos from home. The service was excellent and friendly. We'd come back just to have Julia as our server! She helped us rookies navigate the menu and made suggestions based on my wife's keto requirements. We had an excellent meal! I had the lamb burger with feta and it was outstanding and full of flavor. My wife got the Greek salad with grilled chicken and had to bring some home for later it was so big! We are in town for business mixed with some fun and this restaurant was a welcome addition to our agenda!!

Recommended by a friend, will definitely not be my last time here. food is fantastic, love the environment, and the staff was super friendly. Great hidden gem of Greenville. Started with the wings and should’ve ordered more, they were the best tasting wings I’ve had in a while! I ordered the Sirloin for an entree and it was cooked and seasoned perfectly. We went on a Saturday around 4 and there were only a few other groups in there. Love this place! 5 star recommend you check it out.

Food, service, drinks were excellent. Will be back.

Incredible food, excellent service, great atmosphere. Recommend 100%

Our favorite Greenville bar/fun, upscale restaurant! Perfect, friendly service--genuine folk who care. So, there's comfort food and comfort restaurants. Ji Roz is both for us. The cuisine is consistently fabulous, the portions generous. Love Angelo and Bryson--bartender/servers who keep a game of chess going behind the bar. Smart, great fellas! Five-star experience every time.

In my trips, I have tried the Wood-Fired Octopus, the Pastitsio, the Big Fat Common Gyro, the Loaded Greek Fries, and a dessert that I'd never had called Greek Ekmek. Let me start with praising the wood-fired octopus. That was so flavorful, the combination of the capers, pickled onion, and lemon really complimented the flavor of the roasted octopus! That was as near to perfection as it can get. The loaded Greek fries and the gyro, both hit every button on tastiness and texture. They were simply made and just absolutely made my mouth happy! I leave the pastitsio for last to explain something. Having lived several years in Italy taught me that everyone has their own way of making sauce and lasagna. The same held true for when I worked in Greece. Pastitsio is a personal thing. I liked the Pastitsio made at Ji-Roz....a lot. Just be aware it might be made slightly different from what you may have had before. Don't shy away from it - its GOOD! The ekmek was like an egg custard on top of a shredded pastry made into a kind of a nest, all topped with chopped pistachio nuts. Not overly sweet, but punch-packed with flavor! It's now one of my favorite desserts! It's a very comfortable place to eat and the people there are super-friendly.

Was excited to try out the lamb, but was highly disappointed. From all the places I’ve ever tried, Greek restaurants always have good lamb, I just moved here and thought this place would be good as well but it disappointed. The lamb was smelly and did not taste right, either the sheep was old or not raised correctly. Defiantly not what lamb should taste like.Just being honest to anyone who is wanting to try out the lamb, this is not the place to go to.

This was my Yelp review from today that I had to share here as well: I would have posted pictures here but the food never had a chance sitting on the table! The lemon chicken and rice soup was flavorful with the right amount of pepper. This will be my go to soup when I'm sick!! The daily pita was Spanakopita -spinach filled phylo ring that was bursting with flavors!! And the dessert... Ekmek - I'm not even going to try and describe it. Trust me on this one and just order it! (You're welcome.) Chef John and the staff (our waiter was Bryson) are friendly and passionate about their food. Full bar with some unique specialty drinks, soups and salads, sandwiches and entrees. This place has it all.
