The more times I go to Harris Teeter, I learn that they really stay in tuned to what we like from a customer standpoint. I am seeing new items frequently.
It’s a nice supermarket. Has higher quality products. Does it’s own gimmick like other grocery stores with specific brands, deli, fresh produce, dinner options, flowers, and everything else you’d expect. It’s a step above publix but not like Whole Foods. I enjoy their sushi’s or breakfast bar in the mornings.
Really upsetting experience today. I bought a PLAIN roast chicken for my partner in the deli. They have to be PLAIN because he has life-threatening food allergies. And know what? This chicken, with the word PLAIN or the label wasn't PLAIN. Among other things it contains paprika and other spices. My partner could not eat it. False and DANGEROUS labeling here. So you just lost me as a customer, and probably all me food allergy friends as well.
Always a pleasure to shop at our local Harris Teeter! Pharmacy staff has always been friendly and helpful.
This is a great store but parking is terrible. Don't know why they put such a nice store in such a hard place to get in and out of.
If I could give them a zero, I would. I used to love this store but they hired an unprofessional pharmacist. David Miles is nasty and hateful. You'd think he'd be helpful but sadly, he's not. Another problem is they NEVER answer the phone in the pharmacy. I understand busy but I can't get through unless I call the manager of the store. It shouldn't take another manager. Pitiful customer service. It's not my fault if he has no help. I've heard with my own ears how rudely and unprofessional he talks to staff. Yes, he berates them in front of customers.
I had an absolutely terrible experience and will never be returning to this store! I absolutely loved the store when it first opened because everyone was so friendly and helpful. But tonight I stood at the meet counter for 5-10 minutes AT LEAST waiting for help and there was a line forming behind me. The associates working the counter saw me and looked at me many times as they were cutting meat at tables in the back but wouldn’t come help me. I called my husband absolutely LIVID and then as soon as I walked away they came immediately to assist the line of customers behind me with smiling faces. I left my buggy full of groceries in the store and went to the front and filed a complaint. Just because this store is located on Augusta Road dones NOT give them the right to treat a customer this way because they judge them based on what they feel their social and financial standing is! I WILL be taking this further! I realize that the customer is not always right but in this case, the customer IS right because this is PREJUDICE plain and simple!
Harris Teeter has decide to put mini bars in there stores and it works. There are usually plenty of folks around for good conversation. Also alot of drink choices which theres bound to be something for everyone. It seems like a good spot to unwind and meet a new friend. They also alow you to bring in food you buy from the grocery area to make each experience whatever your looking for that day. So come on in don't be shy, see you there!
I like this store! It has everything I like to purchase plus it allows me to stretch my imagination too. I thought this store was going to be expensive but their prices are very reasonable. They even have vegan products. Ex: vegan cheese that actually melts!
I Really love Harris Teeter!! It ranks at the top of my list. I remember waiting for them to complete this location a few years ago....I was so excited and it hasn't let me down however EVERY time I go in there to the meat dept I feel like I'm a bother....I understand we're in a Pandemic and they may be short staffed and I also understand people have bad days but this happens ALLLLL the time!!! I found myself getting meats that were already packaged so I wouldn't interrupt them:)
