Genevieve’s is a must-do when going for a show at the Peace Center! You have gorgeous views of the Reedy and Wyche Pavilion, with a beautiful interior full of great food, drinks, and helpful staff. I love how they make themed cocktails and mocktails for each show. The latest was “The Snow Queen” grown up chocolate drink and “Let It Go” bubbles with edible glitter. We always reserve drinks and dessert at intermission. Highly recommended!
We visited Genevieve's, before attending the Frozen show, for a drink and dessert. The menu wasn't appealing for our preferences for dinner so we went elsewhere, but the dessert was amazing! It isn't often in SC that I have found anything with Rhubarb on a menu, this Strawberry Rhubarb crumble was everything I remembered from childhood!
This was my 1st and last time here....I Guess I Blended in with the background...I arrived here at the restaurant before the concert. I was seated at a window seat I wasn't there long maybe 3 min, but then 2 women walked and sat down and immediately the server went to their table. I got up to advise the manager, Chris, that I was seated before those ladies and he proceeded to tell me that I've only been waiting a couple of minutes and he asked if I wanted him to have the server attend to my table now and I said yes.... well the server continued speaking with the ladies that "did not blend in with the dark decor"I realize the wait was not long, but it is the principal.... any way I advised the server that I was just about to leave to have dinner elsewhere and he said, "that's fine" so I politely removed myself and proceeded to leave. I stopped by the host's stand to relay to Chris, the manager, my conversation with the server, and Chris started, "Well it seems that you were giving him attitude and if you'd like to leave that's fine". I did. So I am here right across the street at Paloma, being treated with the respect I deserve.I'd like to thank Chris for showing me that this establishment has no regard for true customer service and for motivating me to venture out to a different establishment that understands "real customer service".If you do decide to go to this establishment and you happen to blend in with the decor make sure you ask Chris to notify a server to serve you. ?
It was a great location to hold a reception. Food, drinks, and service was all great.
I always love going to Genevieve's before a show at the Peace Center! The atmosphere is amazing and the decor is gorgeous! Food is terrific and is served beautifully! Desserts are my favorite!
Beautiful atmosphere! Very nice cocktails! I enjoyed the burger sliders and my friend had the dill chicken salad croissant and both were delicious! This is such a great spot for a quick bite prior to or after a show at the Peace Center.
Was a wonderful experience. We were able to reserve Genevieve's for our companies annual holiday party. The staff was wonderful, the food amazing. Will definitely visit again.
The class of a big city venue - right here in Greenville.
We had a great time before Nate Bargatze's show. We sat outside on the balcony. The weather was perfect, and the view is so pretty! Our server, George, was delightful. Tonight was his first night. We had a charcuterie board with meat, cheese, fruit, and nuts. We also had a fritters theme...shrimp and grits fritters with pepper jelly were so good! We had peach fritters with ice cream...mercy! It was a slow and relaxed experience. A perfect start to our evening.
