Allison was our waitress at Fhinneys buffet in Greenville S. Carolina. She greeted us with a big smile and made you feel like you were at your grandmother's having a home cooked meal. We were looking for tasty southern fried chicken and greens. This buffet had those items and more. They also serve breakfast buffet on the weekends. Yum

This place is absolutely amazing! Best fried chicken, baked chicken, greens, cabbage, mac/cheese you can find in town hands down. The staff is friendly and don't forget to get the banana and chocolate puddin!
I saw that they had good reviews online so my husband and I decided to give them a try. Great food, great prices, definitely glad we stopped by. We went on a Sunday afternoon and it was definitely busy with the after church crowd and others. I only wish there was a location closer to us.
5 stars ALL AROUND. Nothing falters. The food is even piping hot the whole time on the buffet and very fresh and rotated. Recommend for everyday consumption
In town for a funeral and wanted something that was not a chain. This place was awesome. I will definitely put this place on my list when I return for family visits.
Amazing all around. From salads to dinner all the way to desserts and even the cornbread. There is no falter to their cooking ways.
This place suffers extremely from lack of proper management and quantity of servers. They have no seating system in place so I was admitted before there was any actual place to seat me. In fact, I wasn't given any seating and a random server came up to place me down at a table with an existing party. Eventually space cleared and I was moved to my own locale, but still.Additionally, the buffet itself is barely kept stocked, namely in fried chicken which rapidly ran out of legs. The servers try their best but there's no organization system in place to make it easier for them so they are unable to meet customer requests. This lies doubly on management as nearly everything relies on them. Even to get ice cream, I had to ask my server 5 different times because she forgot because she got swarmed by requested from her other "tables". This isn't on her, cause she was a great server. It's on management for not giving her any sort of organization and on making something as simple as ice cream dependent on her instead of the customer.I will say that the food is alright. I, as a home cook, can definitely make/have made better. That is to say, nothing is really remarkable and the food is average at best. That is, besides the ice cream which was really enjoyable. It comes in two flavors, strawberry and vanilla.
My husband is a truck driver and he says this is the best place he has eaten in years. The food was awesome and the service was absolutely the best I’ve had in a while, my teenage son wanted us to hang around to eat the lunch buffet but we were 3 hours from home however we will definitely be coming back
Absolutely the BEST soul/country food that I've ever had in a restaurant!!!! Hands down!!!Love the choices/mix of meats and veggies. As close to true home cooking !!( comparing to Gus' ,K & S, S&S,and county boys) I have to say,no comparison..Fhinney's is the BEST!!!!
