Great old time sandwich shop atmosphere with lots of good choices ( I love the Dukes Pimento Cheese ) The prices are exceptionally low and affordable. Service was outstanding! We felt welcomed & appreciated. My only criticism is the spreads are no longer available anywhere except this location. Either Dukes needs to up their marketing to retail locations or establish direct mail availability for out of town customers
My first time trying the food at duke sandwich restaurant, the sandwich was GOOD ,but the chicken gumbo & cornbread wasn't what I expected at all... was very disappointed ?
Food was very good,but the sandwiches were very THIN.. would have giving 5 stars if the sandwiches were thicker.
Food was good but not great. Had a specialty sandwich that was decent on flavor but lite on meat. Was told there use to be many other shops but this is the last one. Sandwich could have made it a five if a bit more substantial. Was called a dagwood,. And if you are old like me you know what that makes you think...
Fantastic place for a quick bite. Many options to suit everybody in your party. The local regulars are also a treat to meet. Need 1000 sandwiches for an event... they have you. Need a quick PB&J for your kid... they have that too.
This is an historic stop featuring Duke's mayonnaise, sandwiches, soups and homemade desserts. Enjoyable food and customer care.
Great place if you are in the mood for a sandwich. Their lemonade cake is awesome, even better than the sandwiches! I used to love their ham, pepper and onion, but developed an allergy so I can't have it anymore.. They are selling pound cakes for the holidays. The taste like homemade, but a little dense. For $15.00 they were okay. I took 2 for Thanksgiving. I left them in the Dukes box, because mine are better. Where you don't have the time to bake one, it was good enough.It didn't taste like store bought.
Most hateful cashiers ever encountered. This was 2:30 Wednesday before Thanksgiving. Great food and tea. The young lady was giving all customers dirty looks.
Everything is great! The food, staff, and environment. The food comes out quick and the eating area is clean!
