Absolutely appalled by the conduct of said owner. As a neighboring service industry worker, wanted to support. Only to be yelled at by said owner, and it was beyond anything that I have ever experienced.As a former owner & manager of several establishments. I can assure you that their lack of hostility and customer service will get them nowhere with their venture with a bike night!I will never be Back!Wish this poll could reflect 0 stars!!!
My husband and I after a long day at work wanted to have a drink and some food. As we are already on Woodruff Rd, we pull in to a place called, “DOCS Tavern” formally Friars. OMGOSH - walking in the was unbelievable as the decor is all new and fresh. We sunder on up to the bar proceed to order a drink and immediately became friends with everyone. Now, one of the best parts, we ask for a menu. Everything look’s delicious. I order the meal of macaroni and cheese, which by the way comes four different ways to choose from. My hubby orders the burger. We have been back four nights in a row, so I think that sums it up. Give it a try and I promise you won’t be disappointed!!!!! A
The new owner has done a phenomenal job bringing this bar back to its potential! With Music Bingo on Monday, Trivia on Wednesday, karaoke with one of the best DJs In the Upstate on Friday, and live music on Saturday, as well as several pool tables and darts, there is always something to entertain you! Might I also mention the phenomenal bartenders that run this place!? Excellent service every time! Watching this place go from a grungy dive bar with previous ownership to the hottest place to be at on Woodruff Rd is amazing! If you haven’t been there since the name change, I highly suggest you go!!
Worst experience I have ever had going to a bar. SEVIN SHOTS, my friend bought and it turned out they were 40 dollars a shot. This one star I am leaving is very generous. If I could I would leave 0 stars. Then the bartender was being super rude as I am seeing a lot of other reviews saying the same thing. DO NOT GO HERE. You are better off buying a bottle and staying home than going here.
Wouldn't serve me cause she was busy choking her bf's chicken and said my plastic of my ID was peeling. But the info was plain as day ( my opinion was I didn't fit in/their kind). Manager will be notified
If I could give them a zero I would. Never been there but have called them all day and not once did they answer the phone. I checked their live feed saying that they were not very busy so by what I have experienced so far this establishment is very low quality and a waste of time.
Good place, crowd can be not to your taste depending on the day you go there, but usually a damn good time no matter what.
I didn’t feel welcome the minute I walked in. Just a bunch of regulars which is fine. But being snapped at by 2 different bar backs and to top it off I made a request to the DJ and he played the guy who asked after me two songs and never played what I wanted! I will never grace this place with my presence ever again.. good luck Docs or whatever the new name is with that kind of service your in great shape to last in a sea of bars in Greenville, SC #johntaffer #barrescue

This bar is absolutely trash bar. Female bartender is acting weird, may be she is high when she works!!! This place is a dead and the food has way low quality!
