This hotel had great customer service. It could stand for some upgrades specifically the bathrooms, however the price was nice, rooms cleans and it's located close to a lot of shopping and eateries. There's no continental Breakfast so you have to purchase Breakfast at Ruth Chris or eat elsewhere. Also the pool, workout and Sauna areas are cleanly and well maintained. Up to date excersize equipment. Nice pool furniture and Sauna
The lobby& hallways are modern & DECEPTIVE. We entered the room & traveled back in time. Dingy brownish carpet with several large stains greeted us. Closets reminiscent of high school lockers await your clothes & let's not forget the stained 1970's burlap couch, hideous brown and gold curtains that decorate the window, that comes comple with a large crack , and a view of a very large eye level ac unit. They kindly changed our room to one with a much smaller carpet stain, a chaise of the same material as the couch, no cracks in the window and a much better view of not 1 but ALL of the large ac units. This place houses a Ruth's Chris Steakhouse, carries the Crowne Plaza name and somehow managed to modernize everything EXCEPT the guest rooms. Very disappointing....Did I mention it was also our anniversary??
I’m late on my review but this needs to be said. 4 years ago my disabled mother was traveling alone and her flight was cancelled. The airline just let the passengers to fend for themselves. My mom found a room here at this hotel. Unfortunately her phone died and I could get hold of her. I was terrified and the Greenville PD help me find her. I called the hotel and being that I am a supervisor at another hotel I know the rules of what information can be told to a non guest. The General Manager at the time help me locate her room and even went in to check on her(with me on the phone) given she has seizures. I cannot thank this property enough for their generosity and care they have to my mom and myself. By the time arrived to pick my mom up the GM was gone for the day so I hope if the same general manager is still there today that he sees this review and knows I still appreciate the kindness him and his staff showed. They took the time out of their busy day to just help my family. I would give a million stars if I could. Also the hotel is gorgeous by the way. THANK YOU CROWN PLAZA ❤️
My wife and I came to Greenville to celebrate or Wedding Anniversary. The property was nice and the rooms were okay. What really made our experience great was the excellent customer service we received from Samantha and Brooke who worked at the front desk. Both of them were very pleasant and helpful and they made us feel like family. They were able to give us great suggestions of things to do in the city. If I were to come back the Greenville I would book with Crown Plaza without a second thought because of these ladies customer service. The location was close to everywhere we wanted to go as well. Give those girls a raise!!!
The lobby area is nice. Staff was friendly, check in process quick and easy. The rooms need some serious updating. The office chair was about 20 years old, the bathroom mirror bracket was rusty, the sprinkler heads covered in dust and dirt.There is a Ruth’s Chris in the hotel, so if they are trying to project that image of being an upscale hotel there needs to be some serious renovations.Probably would stay there again, I mean it was fine I guess.

Really nice hotel to stay in beautiful pool the people there are very friendly the workers go out of their way to help you out but one thing I didn't like what she have to pay for your breakfast most places give you free breakfast

Helpful staff nice lobby area and business,Coference rooms and decent gym ..need some pull up bars and squat machines..pool and pool area is cool too..but why in the hell is there no microwave in the rooms..that is a major flaw I can't heat my.food up at night...the snack area In front is nice but very expensive ..I paid 10 dollars for water a slim Jim and some peanut M&Ms tf...nice hotel glad I didn't pay to stay here
