I am a regular customer and usually always go into the store to get my salad bowls. However, today I used the online order and was really disappointed when I was unpacking my food at home.I ordered two large salad bowls and neither of them had enough filling that it would equal a small bowl. Parts of my salad was missing (the blue cheese and the bacon on a steak bacon and blue bowl). And also the steak was not as lean as usual but has lots of fat in it (see also pictures). The second bowl was a build your own and had everything unordered but the amount would have easily fit into a small bowl.Full price, half the amount and essential ingredients missing. Only one star today.
I was looking for a restaurant to eat a healthy lunch. Upon entering I noticed the counter and fresh toppings. The staff was friendly and my meal was prepared upon order. The pick two side options were a pleasant surprise. Really enjoyed the variety of drink options as well.
I moved to the GVL area about two years ago, and when I heard we were getting a CoreLife I was so excited. I’ve been to several locations in the Midwest and it’s one of my absolute favorite spots. Healthy, the staff is super cool and the food is delicious. My experience with this CoreLife has been disappointing and constantly confused.. Sometimes it’s good (not great) the Mac n cheese used to be amazing and now it’s dry, flavorless and chewy and the staff continually forgets to put things in the meals. I’ve had to go back up the last two times I’ve gone to ask them to add the bbq sauce to the Korean bbq bowl.Coming from a background in food service, it’s clear that the expectations placed on the staff are not very high and there is little quality assurance happening. I’ve seen issues like this and it’s always a top-down problem so whoever is franchising this location really needs to buckle down on the level of quality and staffing. It’s not even hard to read the energy of the employees. It’s the exact same energy as walking into a Taco Bell…Overall CoreLife, when executed properly is absolutely one of my faves. This location continues to disappoint. They have to stop barely trying and actually put some effort into training their staff, hiring enthusiastic employees and quality assurance.
This is one of my top 5 restaurants in Greenville. I know it is a chain restaurant but this is literally the perfect lunch spot. It has tons of a variety with combinations of food and the food is very high quality. I love the way they cook the steak. They also have delicious sides and a bunch of teas, juices and coffee to choose from. The prices are amazing for the quality of food and service. A quick, healthy place to eat and you will feel energized instead of tired for the rest of the day. We got two regular bowls, 2 sides, and 2 drinks for less than $30
Modern, friendly, moderately-priced, and healthy. The step up in variety is what surprised me when I first viewed the menu. Bowls, wraps, and soups that are not only southwestern-oriented was quite refreshing and gave me hope that it was not going to be a a stale experience. Friendly but concise service with some opportunities for line balancing - some of the employees work faster than others. Would recommend as family friendly and great for a regular meal too. Will be back!
Excellent food and friendly staff. They offer plenty of options for carb-restricted diets as well as vegetarian options. The bowl ingredients were so fresh that they tasted as though they came right from the garden. The staff gave me a complementary drink because of a longer wait time, which was not even that long. Will definitely be a regular customer.
Great food, but check your order and check the bag. Twice they’ve left out part of my order. This isn’t the cheapest place to eat, either, but it is good. Except for the consistency of order inconsistency. If you eat inside wear a jacket, maybe a hat; because usually it is cold. Maybe they do that to buy the soup they’ve left out twice from my order?
Food was prepared quickly and was good. Price was basically the same as most fast food salads.
So so good! Very glad this place popped up and has managed to remain open during crazy c0r0na. It's *slightly* pricey ($$ instead of $), but I personally find it to be worth it, considering the quality of what you're getting. Lots of really tasty options, and the staff is pretty legit too. Knowledgeable and quick, so thank you!
OMG! This is a fantastic, feel good about what you eat, healthy restaurant. Anna was patient when I was selecting options for the salad. It was delicious. I loved the fig and vanilla drink.I'm going back tomorrow for a second salad. Reasonably priced. Healthy. Great staff.
