Came to have lunch with my wife and her family last week. To start we had 3 kids and 4 adults and the staff acted as tho we were a big party and it was difficult to seat us at 12pm on a Monday. Then once we were seated and they were taking drink orders we were informed there might not be enough lemonade for us to choose that as a drink. My wife was also informed that it would be 30-45 minutes if she wanted potato soup.. What restaurant is running out of stuff already at 12pm on a Monday?? Skip forward and EVERYONE at my table has their food except me... I quite literally had the easiest dish out of the adults, and I'm not sure what's so difficult about making chicken tenders and fries. But needless to say my entire table had finished eating and I still hadn't received my food which is just asinine! I asked them to cancel my order and the waiter insisted on bringing my food in a to-go box. Got home to look at the food and even though my wife asked them for ranch multiple times, there was no ranch in my box. Needless to say my family and I won't be coming back. This used to be a decent location but it seems as though that's not the case anymore. If I can't have a decent lunch on a Monday afternoon with my family, why would I give them anymore business from this point moving forward?
Ordered 2 kids meals and an appetizer, one kids meal came out with the appetizer but waited a lengthy amount of time for the second kids meal and salad that we ordered with our entree. Everything came out all at once after that, including a steak that we ordered medium rare that came out well done. Sent it back and believe we just got a bad cut because the color didn't look like steak at all and tasted real funny. We work in the service industry and as understandable as the shortage in staff is, we would still expect the kitchen to be on point with food quality. I was very disappointed in the food all the way around. Our waitress was great and we understand she didn't have anything to do with the way the food came out. We hope that, regardless, the kitchen starts to pay more attention to the plates leaving the line and don't send out anything they wouldn't eat themselves.
I went with my two kids, sat down pretty quick but took awhile for our waitress to come take our order. She was really nice; however, the experience was just terrible. My daughter and got the 2 for $25 with the Texas fries, mainly picked that because we were told it was served with ranch. When the kitchen staff came out with the appetizers, she plops it on the table and goes “we don’t have ranch for these.” That was a bummer, but I let it go.The kitchen staff came out with our meals and plops the food down again, just super rude. I felt bad for our waitress having to deal with them. My daughter and I both ordered medium rare sirloins, but hers came out red and was super cold in the center. I gave her mine, which was okay. I was able to get my meal replaced with a burger, but it was extremely greasy and came out 20 minutes after both my kids were done eating. My sons fries were hard and cold, so he didn’t eat them. While eating, I hear the table behind us ask for ranch… and guess what… they had ranch for their fries all of a sudden?! ?We were then asked if we wanted cheesecake or the skillet cookie for our dessert, my youngest wanted the cookie. We had been waiting for 15 or more minutes and our waitress comes out and apologized that they no longer had the cookie, and asked if we wanted a lava cake instead. We said sure, but man… another 20 minutes go by! I was just ready to go, but couldn’t pay.The whole time throughout the meal I just hear yelling from the kitchen too. Overall, poor experience. Like I said earlier, I felt bad for our waitress, because she was really nice… but the rest of the staff need some work.
Great service! Food was excellent. Overall great dining experience. Loved that the bar has a little separation from the dining room.
Order 2 margarita grilled chicken entrees with black beans and rice and this is what I got. The chicken had a spice to it which wasn’t the norm. I was highly disappointed. Will never eat here again.
My son and I arrived just before 8pm on Valentine's Day for our Sweetheart dinner. The restaurant was a little busy, but not crowded. We were sat immediately upon arrival. We waited about 5-7 minutes before we were greeted by our Server. She came back with our sweet teas a few minutes later and took our order. The good came out pretty quick!! Too quick! My ribs were cold and my fries were missing. The food runner stated that they were cooking me fresh fries. No one ever came back to check on us to make sure our food was satisfactory. AND my son and I both drank all of our tea without a single refill! By this time, everyone around us except one table had left. After 15 minutes of waiting for someone to take their drink order, the table next to us got up and left. As they were leaving, I finally was able to flag down an employee and asked if we could get more tea. He happened to be a manager. He asked to recook my dinner, too late for that, I had sat there for 17-20 minutes and tried to find anyone to help. He offered to give us a to-go drink, he messed that up too. He brought me unsweetened tea. This is not the first time I've had bad service and want happy with my food at this location. This was my last visit to Chili's in the Greenville, SC area. Very underwhelming!!
Service, food and especially the chili were not very good at all. I don't think I will be going back to Chili's on Haywood road ever again
Ok, so this location is dirty as hell. Used dishes all over the bar....sat there for 40+ minutes and them dishes were still there as i left. There were a bunch of workers just standing and talking as a line forms at the door with more than enough seating available...and all them dirty dishes that needed to be tended to. I ended up getting a to-go order and they cheated me on the sauce for my pasta and no dressing for my salad. Bartender expressed frustrations, but she made those menu cocktails pretty alright hence the 2 stars.I'm a Chili's fan, but this location needs some work...
DOORDASHER BEWARE** If you doordash don't pick up here if you value your completion rating, orders are rarely ready and long wait times making it not worth your time, they should honestly quit accepting doordash orders because they are understaffed and can't keep up with the volume of orders.DOORDASH ORDERS** If you order using doordash expect your doordash experience to be not the greatest, your food may be late and thats not the fault of your dasher this restaurant is rarely ontime with preparation of your order causing dashers to unassign your order making your orders less likely to be completed or arrive late and cold.YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED**
We sat at the bar.. to avoid the 45min wait for a tableI ordered the margarita chicken with black beans and rice.. and a tropical something..drink was good!Could definitely tell she was a bartender and not a waitress as the plates from appetizers sat there through the entrees as wellDidn't receive the extra dessert that was ordered and was charged for 2 of the drinks..she removed 1of the drinks from the ticket and I left. Not the greatest experience from one of our most favorite places, think we'll stick to the one close to home.3 out of 5 is the best you'll get this time
