Ugh, what a disappointment. For a large restaurant chain to own so many great restaurants and to let this one get looked over is very strange.Go to Yard house what they also own and enjoy a great meal, awesome customer service, and cleanliness.Anyway, the restaurant is dusty around all the booths. It doesn’t even feel clean. The service was way off. People who came in after us were getting served before us. No apologies were ever given to us until we asked about our food. The food taste wasn’t wonderful at all.No IPA beer??Not a good experience!Won’t be back Darden Restaurants!
We had a wait of about half an hour, which wasn't bad. Simply cause they had 3, 12 tops walk in shortly before us, so the kitchen was back up.Had a fantastic waiter named Nick, who took very good care of us. I got the veggie plate (mainly cause I wanted more than just soup) and my boyfriend had the chicken pot pie.Overall, absolutely worth the wait for the quality of food and price!
This was my first time eating here and I don't think I'll be going back. We order the famous painkiller drink and it was missing the pineapple and cherry that goes on it. We then tried the cheese curds which were good. We order the 14 oz ribeye with 2 sides and the Dijon chicken n mushrooms with 2 sides. The waitress ignored us half the time we were there, the steak was way over seasoned, and the "loaded" potato was just cheese and butter when the picture showed bacon too and to top it off it was cold. I do not recommend this place.
I never write reviews, but this one it’s necessary!I order chicken Alfredo to go, got home and tried the grilled chicken and it tasted raw, I almost threw up, my husband was kind enough to take the chicken out and tried to re grill it so it didn’t taste raw anymore, guess what? It still tasted raw, my husband could not believe me at first, so I forced him to tried it, and he agrees with me. This was either some kind of fake chicken or we don’t know what it was, but even after putting it on an skillet himself this chicken did not cooked at all. I officially can say cheddars has ruined chicken for me, I will never eat chicken in my life again! This was traumatizing, and I am not even exaggerating, this was truly the most disgusting chicken I have ever eaten in my entire life. I have attached a picture of the chicken after my husband put it in the skillet and it looks cooked all the way, but trust me, it tasted raw and awful!
A good selection of tasty food sometimes doesn't make up for bad service. We went for Valentines day and did have an almost 45 minute wait. After I'd waited for 45 minutes I started noticing people being seated who arrived well after I did. I asked the hostess how much longer it would be so she asked for the number on their pager. I heard her mumble something which sounded like "oh shoot" to herself before she said our table was ready now. Apparently they were short of servers because more than half the restaurant was empty. Our server was prompt and attentive even though she was constantly going from table to table. I could easily give Cheddars 5 stars if not having to sit and watch everyone in the waiting area be seated before me, even those arriving much later.
This was our second time coming here first time was great….. took nearly 20 mins for a hostess to even greet us. Once seated waitress took our drink and food order promptly. We never received appetizers drinks weren’t checked on food took nearly an hour .. brought one plate out first so that it wouldn’t get cold, but doesn’t bring silverware until she brings out the rest of the order. Steak came out well done instead of medium rare, broccoli casserole cold, carrots still hard and dry. Even after all that i still would’ve tipped but she didn’t give a pen with the check so oh well ?♀️@ Angela P I usually tip the bill when service is good.
I usually don't write reviews but in this case it was necessary. In the past, Cheddar's was excellent. I'm not sure what is going on now. They are always understaffed & the wait time is ridiculous. Nevertheless, I ate at this establishment on Friday. I not only had 1 hair in my food but 2. Food was untouched so it was clear it was their error. The manager didn't seem to care at all. The waitress told me she would have another meal prepared for me free of charge to take home since I wasn't feeling well. Not even 5 minutes later, she came back & stated she could no longer offer it free of charge but it could be "discounted" per her manager. Very unprofessional & I will never eat here on my dime again.
I ordered the half rack of ribs and I'm positive they were not cooked fresh that day, unless they were cooked in a dehydrator. They tasted and looked like they were cooked days prior and reheated to order. I'm fairly sure that the only thing cooked fresh in this restaurant are the croissants. I'd give zero stars if I could.
My party and I wanted comfort food that is fast and good. I got the ribs and they didn't disappoint. They were fall of the bone and cook to perfection. The other adult had the steak and shrimp and her steak was tender although it was not medium as ordered. The kids had the chicken fingers and fries. All and all a good meal.
At the last minute the staff was able to let us sit at the bar to celebrate our friend's birthday. The bartender/ waitress was excellent at making sure our drinks and food was great. Kept us laughing and entertained.
