While visiting our son in Greenville we tried the downtown "farmers market"and saw this restaurant. We so wanted this place to be good, but unfortunately I didn't check the reviews before trying them. Very long cook times for mediocre over priced sort of Mexican food. The venue on Main Street is nice however the dining experience is definitely lacking in all regards. Their issues are not staffing related like so many other restaurants, rather poor exexution and terrible recipes. I absolutely do not recommend this establishment.
The food was not good and the prices were like going to a upscale restaurant. The drinks just cokes were way over priced. The service was awful and it was not that busy. Food price for example 4 frozen chicken nugget and 4 frozen tater totes $10.99 plus a 4. 00 dollar sprite. When asking for a plate with chicken and rice and queso cheese. The server got huffy and said that is this instead of say we have that it is —-. This was also 17.00 dollars.please don’t eat at this place you will be disappointed.
Please read the reviews before you go here. The Spanish enchiladas were the worst I have ever had. Some of the food had stale rice and it seemed the beans were taken out of the can. We paid $88 having it been the most expensive Mexican food I have ever had. Unless you want you want to burn your pocket you are better off going to any other place.
I couldn't believe they charge 4 dollars for the chips and salsa that you get for free at every other Mexican restaurant. The Steak fajitas had hardly any Steak. The nachos had hardly any toppings. Very disappointed, never again!
The food here was very authentic and delicious. I got a veggie rice bowl for lunch with pinto beans. I would definitely eat it again. The only thing that could use work is the attentiveness of the server. It took a long time to get our bill & to get cashed out. Other than that it was a pleasure experience.
Food was great! $16 for lunch fajitas and 3.99 for chips and salsa. I’m against charging for chips but I see it’s in line with what others in downtown are doing. Staff was very friendly and courteous.
2 adult entrees and 2 kids meals cost $82. Ridiculous pricing for subpar food. I would give negative stars if I could. Very disappointing service. It felt like they new we were out of towners and took advantage of us. We should’ve known not to go here as the restaurant was empty when other places across the street had a 30+ minute wait.
Here is the breakdown:(-2) stars for the ridiculously overpriced food. Spent $75 (including tip) for two kids and two adults (no drinks). Chips and salsa not included, kids meals were $10 a piece!(-1) star for food quality. It was good, but not great, especially considering how much we paid.(+2) stars because the staff was very sweet and accommodating as we had to get in and get out quickly to catch a show at the Peace Center. Overall service was good.
Food turned out to be good, if fairly expensive for what we ordered.
Yummy Spanish food, great service, and good margaritas! Nice outdoor seating right on Main Street in downtown. Def worth the visit! $$
