Had a great meal on the rooftop at Camp. The food was excellent, we had some meats and cheeses, char siu pork belly steam buns, seared sea scallops with a celery root puree and carrot slaw. I think the service would have been a little more attentive if we had stayed downstairs where our reservation originally was, but the weather was beautiful and it was worth it to be outside enjoying it. The desserts were fantastic and they had some excellent dessert wine choices to go with them. I will definitely return again! There are so many other dishes I would like to try. Particularly the grilled octopus!
I really don't have words but I'll try. Staff was beyond amazing--we asked for a chefs tasting type experience and our waiter was knowledgeable, passionate about the food, and amazing at bringing dish after dish that wowed us. Im so so sorry i cant remember our waiters name but he is also a high school chem teacher if that helps, he was phenomneal. The food was creative, gorgeous, with depths of flavor that surprised and delighted me over and over. Seriously, each dish was its own experience and story. The wine selection was superb, it was truly a culinary experience and our table of 9 experienced a true family style meal, shared bottles of wine, and enjoyed the journey together! We also opted for the Jamon with truffle salted manchego cheese--the Jamon was aged 15 months, sliced thin and melted like thin parmesan in your mouth! The char siu bbq pork buns were complimented w a delicious kimchi and the pillowy bun had my 9 year old ordering another plate of them. Octopus, dumplings, and steak skewers were so good.My mom is mostly plant based and they were so accommodating with no miss on flavor. The chef even brought out an amazing green sauce to her from tomatoes they had picked from the garden that day.My mind is blown guys, it was so so good. Omg also dessert. All of them were good but the star of the show was the coconut ? torte with the LEMON GRASS ICE CREAM. The nutty coconut complimented the acid in the lemon grass and the creaminess of the ice cream, it was magical. I will have this place on my list every time I go to Greenville!
Had a fantastic dinner at Camp! Everything was delicious and our server, Chris, was wonderful.Steam buns: 9/10Jumbo gambas: 8.5/10Butternut soup: 9/10Grilled halloumi: 7/10Thai tea creme brûlée: 10/10Very happy with our food, drinks, and service. Great atmosphere and location for a date night!
Incredible chef here. The octopus was extremely tender and flavorful. Dumplings were insanely good as well.I recommend here for light eating as the portions were small but the atmosphere and flavor are worth trying
Camp was absolutely amazing . My sister & I were in town & we decided to go check this place out together for restaurant week, we ordered some of the tapas items on the menu, and shared them. Our server was the best . His service and attentive customer service skills were very refreshing . I don’t have not one complaint about anything we tried . I’m still in awe over the calamari that looked like soup, that calamari dish took our breathes away. The squash soup stole the show as well . Camp is a must visit when in Greenville!
Amazing meal in a beautiful space. Service was top notch. The small plates were well timed. Our dessert (strawberry rhubarb tart) is one of the best I’ve ever had.
One of the best dining experiences I've ever had -- and I'm a foodie. Four of us went together for restaurant week, ordered all the tapas items on the menu, and shared them. Kevin, our server, provided attentive but not overbearing service, and Chef Drew ratcheted up the flavors and creativity on standard concepts. Who knew grilled cheese and tomato soup could be so gourmet?!
Camp was absolutely amazing! Now in their 6th menu in 6 months since they’ve been open, every single plate is a piece of American fusion art focused on the freshest seasonal ingredients. The entire experience was beyond flawless start to finish, from the waygu corndogs to the butternut squash soup with chestnut custard. Each dish felt like a comfort food taken to a level I didn’t know existed, @table301 proves again why they’re the best restauranteur in GVL with @campgvl
Eclectic and tasty menu, with plenty to choose from and to come back for!
The place is really nice and the service is amazing. My favorite plate was the steam buns and the enchiladas will probably will my second favorite one. Everything was good. The cocktails were not bad but definitely not my favorite ones.Overall was a good experience but for a 120 usd ticket I would probably chose a good steak house to dinner.
