Every time we’re in Greenville, we stop to get a Sweet Potato Cake. It’s The Best!!! Everything else is good too.

Visited for lunch. Several reviews comment on food quality and on a previous visit my shrimp and grits were swimming in cheese but yesterday’s Reuben sandwich with walnut slaw was delicious and the carrot cake was as good or better than any I have ever enjoyed. Service was efficient but brusque. Asked for a wine list and was told “we don’t really do wine, what sort do you want?” Before being served a perfectly nice Chardonnay. Fun room and decor though. Live music (sax player) a nice touch.

Love the sweet potato cake, but don't see the point in pre-order if we have to stand in line for over 30 minutes waiting on it. Wouldn't it make sense it premake & box the one's that were ordered? Need a better method to this.

Of course their cakes are 5 star like always, which I ordered a slice to go… the sweet potato cake takes 1st place in my opinion. Today I went in and ate lunch. I ordered the shrimp and grits. Unfortunately it wasn’t the best but could use some tweaking, the sauce is absolutely amazing but it overpowered the grits by adding too much. The shrimp was cooked perfectly but could be portioned out on top- the overall look was not pretty, they should hold back on the sliced lemon buried at the bottom as I scooped a seed into my teeth. It would have been perfect if the sauce was drizzled and no lemon but maybe on the side for taste but will be back to try something new.

Derek made my daughter’s 30th birthday a memorable and happy event! He took a lunch reservation for us, offered great service and even took our picture. Of course we love the food, but Derek made this an extra special visit!

Had a wonderful time. Great food with a cozy atmosphere

It has been a while since we have been there but we always loved eating there. The food is great!

A little disappointed..was hoping to get their peanut butter pie which was amazing..they don't offer anymore. Had to wait, which I don't mind but no one acknowledged us for quite some time..lunch was average. Waitress was very nice tho.. Our dad had passed in Nov & had taken us there some years back for dinner so in his memory we wanted to experience it again..not the same ?

My family had lunch at Brick Street cafe. We really closed down the lunch crowd. We had an awesome time. We were talking about line dancing, so Ms. Sue Wilson got up with 2 of my cousins to dance.I have not had this much fun at a lunchThank you Ms. Sue and the total staff at Brick Street Cafe for the awesome fun and great meal we had today.

Just ate at @brickstreetcafe, what an experience! The wait staff and service staff were the rudest I have ever experienced in my 59 years of eating out. Not just one but all of the wait staff/greeters/servers were rude! I understand that they may be short staffed but that is no excuse to be rude to a paying customer. Yes their cakes are to die for and the food is good but I won’t be back, nor will I recommend anyone to eat there…Customer service matters!
