Some of the best food I've had in a while. Had fish,black-eyed peas and cabbage. Man it was good. The ladys running the place were very nice. Good experience all around! I would highly recommend! Update went back and it still good.8/2/2022
My daughter and I were googling soul food restaurants in Greenville and came across this restaurant. We stopped and tried it out and the food was great. The atmosphere was great. The employees were nice and we will definitely be back again.
Best dang collard greens I’ve ever had in my entire life! Fish was great too! Cream corn gets a chefs kiss as well! I’m coming back for those ox tails for sure. Customer service was phenomenal. You feel welcomed and at home the moment you walk in.
Great soul food options just 2 miles off the Interstate! They offer large portion sizes and great pricing. We will make this stop every trip to Atlanta!

My,My,My visited there on April 23rd came down for the Southern Blues Concert.Headed by to Knoxville Tennessee we want good soul food and had read up on your restaurant. So we knew we had to try it. The food was great and the portion size was well worth the moneyI had oxtails. Macaroni n cheese , greens . Cornbread n onions with mango lemonade.Bab had jerk chicken. And the food was real SOUL FOOD all I had to add was my hot sauce?We really enjoyed ourselves. Would I return.CAN’T WAIT.That’s something we don’t have in Knoxville. Northerners Horrible Attempt At Cooking Southern Foods. I've been 3 times over the last 5 years, and STRIKE YOUR OUT! The chicken was dry and smothered in salt, I almost asked if I could wash it off to start over. Everything was salty and NOTHING tasted like soul food. The tea even tasted spoiled and watered down. Oh did I mention there was the really rude lady that worked there couple of years ago.
Food is ok but service is trash. They forget your items with your order & are rude when you remind them, while they still forget. I was told to wait 30 minutes to come get a pick up order & when I walked in, they were completely empty and I still got the same warm food that was under the lights. Nothing was made fresh. Won’t be getting my $15 again.
