I always love dining here. I almost always get the special, and I am especially thrilled if that special happens to be octopus or squid! my son loves their pizzas, and my husband can vouch for their steaks and their red wine selection.they usually manage to talk us into dessert, and it never disappoints. this is one family-run restaurant that does things right. even my in-laws choose this restaurant when they come into town!
What a great astomsphere! Our waiter was so polite and very attentive to our every need...can't find service like that these days! Food was delicious too ? ?
We have lived in GV for 6 years and were looking for someplace different for our anniversary. We came across Bocca Pure Italian and decided to give it a try. So, it seemed very authentic with a great menu. Good selection of wines, nice ambiance and thoughtful but not overbearing service. Loved it and will definitely return and make friends aware of it.
Had been wanting to try Bocca for awhile and finally got an opportunity to. I wasn't sure what to expect and it seemed maybe we were a bit under dressed. The service was typical of fine dining, lengthy and unattentive. I was a bit surprised about being reached in front of to fill the water glass. Services didnt seem to match the hospitality it claimed for the extra taxes they add on the bill. The food was good and very flavorful. There was an abundance of choices for desert selections.
We ate here last night for a family birthday dinner. It was my first time there and I have to say I was very impressed. The food so fresh and delicious! The restaurant was absolutely gorgeous! I couldn't stop looking around. You can truly feel the pure love of food and service vibe in there. 100% recommend! Just keep in mind this a place where you go enjoy a meal it's not fast food.
A gem, quietly tucked away, but shines so brightly.Family owned and run. Many others in town have a hard time opening up for indoor dining, probably because they’re staff didn’t feel like family. Here, you feel that even as a customer.
Nicest Pizza Hut I’ve ever eaten at(lol J/k it’s in an old Pizza Hut building so…)We had a nice dinner and will definitely be back for more. Great old-school style Italian food in a cozy atmosphere. We had caprese and meatballs for appetizers, and chicken Marsala and lasagna for the main entree.
The management here is amazing. Mrs. Bocca was so helpful to accommodate my party of 16. She was so nice and helpful throughout the entire process. I have never been to a place where the owner is constantly out on the floor helping with the service, but she does. The food was great we did not have any complaints. The ONLY issue we had was a menu discrepancy, but other than that everything was great. I would just suggest getting the menu fixed so there aren’t any other issues in that area. This establishment is small and intimate. It is not a place where you would take a bunch of people or families with small kids, but it is perfect for dates, a two person meal or small groups.
After we were seated, it took one hour and five minutes (1:05) to get our food. The small dining room was FAR too loud. This extreme noise ruined my dining experience. The food was only mediocre and not worth the price. Waiter was excellent, but could obviously not make up for the long wait for the food (1:05), extremely noisy dining room, and mediocre food. Not recommended ??
The woman who met us at the door treated us like we were very inferior and had a very rude attitude. We didn’t even get to try the food. I wouldn’t recommend just based on the service alone.
