Best we have found in Greenville. We have been coming here for a few years and have tried many different sushi places. Hands down best we have had!!!
My meal came and it was cold. I asked them to please just put it in the microwave for a minute or two. It came back to me five minutes later and it was still cold! The rice, veggies & meat were supposed to be hot, like my friends food. My meal was cold. Stay away from this place!
Didn't love it but it wasn't bad. I don't like the creamy ginger dressing though. Creamy ginger is so weird and I've literally never seen it outside of Greenville Asian restaurants. Anyway I heard this place was really good on Reddit, but it just didn't have a ton of flavor. Tuna in tuna roll was mealy.
Only giving three stars because the food was just ok. Got a steak bento, which wasn’t too bad, but I’ve had much more amazing bentos elsewhere. The main problem was the sauce dip, which was essentially the consistency of water. Couldn’t dip anything from my plate without it dripping all over the table. Terribly done. The other issue is the man behind the counter was just not friendly. Bad vibes all around. I was hungry and the food satisfied, but I won’t be going back.

Bento Boys is basically Joy of Tokyo but local and better in every way. Like price, quality, quantity, service, etc. They're pretty goated for me takeout hibachi-wise. If you're gonna dine-in, get the bento instead, cause you're not gonna get that typical show.They actually have Japanese owners/workers, unlike half of the Japanese places around here, and their sushi is reasonably priced and made fresh. White sauce comes with every order and I guess for takeout they're handing out sporks now.The main gripe I have with them is that their sauces seemed to have gotten less thick since I've last been, though it remains the same flavor-wise. And it's often a pain in the caboose to get outta there if you gotta take a left.
We tried 4 different types of sushi. It was a little bit overpriced for what it was. The sushi was alright but nothing amazing, tasted a little bland
The hibachi here is very good; the interior is a little off kind of reminds me of an old pizza joint. The food is priced very reasonably, the sushi was pretty good, and it's a good experience for what you pay for
AMAZING SUSHI!!!! Loved it so much, good quality and decent price compared to most sushi places. Tuna tataki was good as well! Good service and we received our food quick. Definitely recommend this place!
SO yummy! The service was wonderful and the sushi and hibachi were so tasty. Definitely recommend trying this place!! Very affordable too.
