I just had the worst experience here that makes me never want to return. I’ve been eating at this restaurant since 2008, and it’s always been one of my favorites. I’ve never had a meal that I didn’t like, and have recommended so many people to eat here.I ate dinner with my husband and 2 daughters tonight and ordered a menu item (nachos) that I absolutely hated. It’s the only meal I haven’t liked. I took two bites and sent it back. The waitress asked if she could box it and I told her none of us liked it. There was no offer of another meal option. I went without food. At the end of the meal, we received the check with the full amount of the nachos still on the bill. My husband inquired about it and we were told that once the plate arrives at the table you pay for it regardless. I spoke with the manager/owner myself where I explained how much I’ve frequented the restaurant and was complimentary of all the other meals I’ve had here. She told me that their meals are all their own recipes and that there’s nothing wrong with the food. She asked what I didn’t like and I told her. She told me she was sorry, but we don’t ever take things off the bill due to displeasure with the meal.I have eaten at everything from fine dining to fast food, and have never been talked to that way at a restaurant. There was such a condescending and elitist tone in how superior they were. Restaurants are a hospitality business and in a time when people are cutting costs due to rising prices, attitudes like that need to be managed. I will never eat here again based on the way we were treated. Our bill was $100 for an appetizer, nachos, 2 kids meals, and hamburger steak. Go elsewhere.
I read the menu, read the reviews, and decided that Adams Bistro was on going to be on my dine line wishlist. I had lunch there with my niece and 20 year old great nephew. I like all of the artwork on the walls, the place is nice and cozy, the lighting could be a little brighter, but that's a minor detail. When ordering my food I played it safe, and did the meat and two sides. I had the country fried chicken with white sausage gravy, fried okra, mac and cheese and a biscuit. My chicken was tender and juicy, I didn't have to use a knife, the okra was crispy on the outside, but not fried too hard, the sausage gravy tasted good with the fried chicken, and the buttermilk biscuit was so good as I dipped it into the gravy,(country I know:), the mac and cheese tasted like it was made with sharp cheddar cheese, eggs and milk, not too dry and not runny, just right, from scratch!!! For dessert, which I couldn't finish after the big portion of food they put on my plate(not complaining), I had Chris's Chocolate Silk pie. Let me tell you Chocolate OVERLOAD, whipped cream topping with shaved chocolate, creamy chocolate filling and a chocolate cookie crust with almonds! I thoroughly ENJOYED my first dining experience at Adams Bistro, it won't be my last visit, next time I want to try the BBQ Chicken Pasta! I recommend giving Adam a try my picky nephew even liked it , and wants to know when we're going back!!

Ate dinner here on a weekday night. Lots of food options on the menu. The food was good but not worth the prices. Service was quick and all the food came out in a timely manner. The restaurant atmosphere was pleasant and I like the option to be able to eat inside or outside.
Not a great experience. Ordered the Chicken Marsala, which was pretty good, but not $20.95 good. For one of my side dishes, I ordered the "sauteed" green beans...but when they arrived, it tasted like they were straight out of the can; there was no seasoning whatsoever. I brought this to the attention of the server, Fabrice, who told me, quite condescendingly I might add, that it was always prepared that way, and that if I didn't like it, 'twas no fault of theirs. He offered to get me a different side item...for full price $3.95. They are going to charge people nearly 4 bucks for 10 cents worth of canned green beans. That is beyond bad business, and, all things considered, isn't surprising at all. I really wanted to like this place, because the atmosphere was lively and enjoyable, but with their "the customer is always wrong" philosophy, I won't be back. Epic Fail.
Had lunch today with business associates that were here from Columbia. After raving to my associates about the food at Adams we collectively decided to dine. Customer service was horrible- lack personality. Waitress delayed taking our order and in fact seemed to be annoyed by our presence. My associates were disappointed and did not eat their meals: salmon pita, and burger w/fries because they requested a side of ranch and was told it would cost $3.95! I order chicken strips and when requesting barbecue sauce I was told $3.95 up charged! That’s right $3.95! I left here feeling singled out and can’t believe this is the new norm now!!! This charge is higher than a bottle of barque sauce.
Small dining area was crowded during a Monday lunch visit but we were seated quickly, as they require all party members to be present before seating other parties. They were out of one of the lunch specials, so we ordered salmon salads. The salads looked impressive with fresh ingredients. Salmon was well prepared and sauce with capers was tasty. It was a bit much for topping lettuce, since it ended up a bit soggy. Service was efficient and the check came quickly.
Adams Bistro has been the same for years. It’s not the “modern” “hip” or newest spot but your always nice, great food, pleasant service spot. They have a vary varied menu which makes it easy for me as a pescatarian that doesn’t like shellfish. Their pastas are even better than some Italian local restaurants, salads always crispy, fresh and I also love the atmosphere. I enjoy looking at the local artists displayed on their walls. They also have outdoor sitting and even provide fleece blankets for each chair in case you get a bit chilly this time of year. Portions are shareable. They have a sharing fee that is under $5 and certainly worth paying if you don’t want to take leftovers. Service is great most of the times. Last time I visited I asked for the salmon which was cooked perfectly. Definitely worth trying.
I had the chicken marsala, sauteed spinach and crispy brussel sprouts. All were very delicious. You don't need a knife to cut the chicken. Very tender and easily cut with a fork. Great service as well.
