Number One Kitchen on Red Bank Road in Goose Creek is a great place to go for delicious and fresh Chinese food when you are in the area and want something good. The food here is well prepared and available when you need it. I have been happy with all of the orders that I have made from here.
Ordered some food and started eating it. Food feels like its microwaved. I ordered a side of chili oil and there was literally mold in it. So I called and was able to get a refund. Never eating here again.
My first choice for Chinese everytime. They never disaappoint.
My favorite chinese takeout place sonce i was a little kid. More affordable than some other chinese takeout places. Consistently good food, friendly and helpful staff, and a cornerstone to anyone who grew up in goose creek.
Pretty good for a strip mall Chinese restaurant. Prices are reasonable. I stop here after work sometimes if I'm too tired to cook. I really don't like strip mall restaurants because the food is usually precooked. But this place is good and I like the Singapore Pancit and the sauce (gravy) they use on the Chinese vegetables and other items. Whenever I get the egg rolls I always ask for them to be crispy, because one time they were soft and doughy. The young man at the window could use some customer service training, but a lady that works there tries to mitigate that by saying "Thank you" as you leave. I really appreciate that.
I made the call to pickup an order, gave my number and waited until they called me... at least I tried to wait. They may have been busy because I didn't get a call. I went in and got my food, which was good. My wife and I enjoyed it. They are a little more expensive than some of their competitors though. I would return in the future.
I stopped eating Chinese for awhile because you can no longer find authentic Chinese with real fried rice. They all sell yellow rice now, HOWEVER a friend of mine took me here and it is the best in the area. Although they also use yellow rice i enjoyed it and their egg foo young is great, so overall I would recommend you to try them if you’re looking for good Chinese food in the area.
I think its funny people are complaining about the price going up when EVERYTHING has gone up. If you go to the store the the prices have increased at home depot, gas, everything. So you expect to get a raise at your job but expect businesses to keep the same prices? That's just ignorant. This is the ONLY Chinese restaurant I'll eat at. I've tried others and they just don't compare. I came to the reviews to see if they opened again so I'll be ordering my food today. I've been going to this restaurant for over ten years. You won't be disappointed!
I have been going to this restaurant for a while it burnt down they had to change it over and I waited I was so happy when they opened back up it seemed like everybody was nice everything was good and today is Sunday and not just because it's Sunday that I am in great spirits I am in great spirits almost every day and I'm only human and I understand it everybody else is only human but when you have an establishment and it's yours you don't just work there you you own it I walked in ISIS hello and such a great blissful day the little boy said what's your order so I said hello what's your order he replied again I ordered my rice and if any it doesn't really piss me off at hurts my feelings because I patronize stablish mant, and that's not good, I don't like it at all. It's not fair.I hope the best for them and I will find myself another Chinese restaurant to go to that respects me and my patriotism, God bless you at number one kitchen and I hope the best for you
Food and portions are very good. Never had a bad plate!
