no business notes telling customers that dining room is closed, increased my wait time because I walked up to the door. then once I got to the ordering speaker 30 minutes later, I usually respond to a verbal direction with an okie dokie she responded snotty saying what did you just say.. ..I drive for uber eats and situations like this can be disastrous for ratings. even had to give them a pep talk on team work and efficiencyall parties involved benefit from efficiency in this business...0 stars if possible
On April 1st, I purchased 2 sets of Lobster Rolls as I normally do. Today, the bread was hard and the seafood was warm. I called the restaurant and spoke with the MOD; Jennifer. I was very kind because I normally enjoy the rolls, but I wanted her to know that they must be careful because seafood salad must be kept cool. In my opinion, Jennifer was extremely NASTY. She told me that without a receipt they usually do nothing at all. I didn't know if I kept my receipt because I don't normally return lobster rolls, but it was the manner in which she told me that they usually do nothing at all to appease the customer. I found my receipt and I headed back to "Captain Don't " for a refund. Once again, it appears that the most unqualified person got the job. By the way, she hung up the telephone on me because she said it was the dinner rush. Unprofessional and classless. I also checked and they have numerous reviews that gave them one star. I would have been satisfied with an apology for the substandard food and an invitation to come back at another time. Jennifer is awful in my opinion so no. I will not be returning.
We've been here many times in the past, but we will never be back. We went through the drive-thru, which was agonizingly slow. Ordered 2 fish meals - a 3 piece and a 4 piece, both with fries and coleslaw. Got home to find out that 1 piece of fish was missing, as were 2 hush puppies, and instead of fries, one dinner was given double cole slaw. What?? How do you screw up an order that badly, especially when you've taken ages to get it ready? To top it off, we also received no tartar sauce, and the food was cold! Very, very disappointing. You'd be better off driving a little further into Summerville and spending your money at Codfather.
Drive thru took so long. Got in line at 12:30 didn't get food until 1:15 and the order was wrong. Will not go back.
Didn't have much of a selection . The young ladies had a little attitude but the biggest thing that lead to the review is that she was over heard saying that she should take a customer info from a debit card and go buy things with it because she was upset. If you feel this way I won't do business after this, especially by card. I understand that everyone is short staffed but if you can't handle, find something different. Even the young lady who I think is the manager, heard her say that and was shocked because it was a lobby of people.
Drive thru service was real quick and hot food

I will be nice and say the staff were nice, this Captain D's had the worst food of any C D's ever. The Gumbo was was very salty and left a very strange after taste, the other items lacked any taste at all. In addition, was asked which sides I wanted, as if it came with the meal and then charged for them. (The normal sides and not the special sides) Very disappointed and will never return again
The food was decent. I tried the lobster rolls for the first time and it was tasty. The service was satisfactory. We would come back in the future.
The have the sign up for dining room closing at 7 and they at 6. They won't let delivery drivers in and/or use the bathroom and the people were very Rude
