Usually the service time is alright, customer service good, and food amazing, but the audacity of the (buzz cut dyed teal hair) waitress tonight was dumbfounding. We were waiting 50 minutes JUST to get our order taken. 20 minutes of which the waitress left on break and walked in smelling like burning plastic. She was 100% under the influence and had no care to be kind but didn’t even apologize for the wait. She got our order wrong and had us stay late for an item she’d forgotten about we asked off our bill. Just lousy work ethic from her. If this is her normal shift, best believe we’ll be avoiding her shifts for the rest of the incredible staff. You should too :)
I never have very high expectations for Waffle House, but this one has the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. Two of us went here this morning, found a table, and sat waiting for at least 20 min without a single person acknowledging us. They also had puddles of water on the floor near our table. A couple walked in after we were sitting unattended for 20 min and they immediately took the couple’s order so we left. Clearly we were invisible…so we went to the Waffle House in Pineville. Don’t waste your time at the Fort Mill location and just go to the Pineville location. A MUCH better experience.
If I could give a zero we just came in and was told she wasn't taking orders for 45 minutes we waited and then was told she wasn't taking any orders at all the cook was ready and willing to serve us. She turned away more than 10 people while we waited. When we first pulled up she was sitting down talking with her girlfriend before we even got out the car. We asked for a number to call to speak to corporate or someone and she was beyond disrespectful and wouldn't give us any information never have I ever experienced terrible service like this.
I can't believe the most cracked out waffle house is in this area. Servers always nodding out or zipping around, forget trying to get a correct take out order. This play is obscene. I felt guilty taking my kid there. Waffle house should not have been the sketchyest place my kid has ever seen.
Excellent service all around
3 times I’ve been to this Waffle House. 1st time refused any eat in orders, this was during Covid so okay I get it. 2nd time, took my wife here after a race and wanted waffles (Waffle House) refused to make any waffles because they were out of the spray and the butter to make it not stick was “popping them”. Today I went at 12:30 in the afternoon on a Saturday and I hadn’t sooner got to the door then this super unprofessional older lady let us know that they wouldn’t be taking any orders for the next hour. Mind you there were maybe 3 tables inside with people eating. They were not busy. Plenty of staff. You can’t serve customers for lunch on a Saturday? Management needs to change this or shut this Waffle House down. I’m from Atlanta and this is not how waffle houses are ran. Fix it.
Walked inside around 12:30 am to get some food and nobody that worked was inside. Waited 5 mins and no one had still had came in

The waitstaff at this location was terrific. My waffle was perfection. Would absolutely return here!
Twice we have tried this location and both times all the tables were dirty and it didn't have that good wafflehouse aroma.Both times we decided to go ahead and head to a different location instead of this one.Will not be trying this location a third time due to an employee coming outside to write down our license plate.
