Awesome staff, Awesome food! I cannot say enough about the service and the quality of the food. Whether you want finger foods for southern comfort, they have a wide variety. I eat the weekly and I have never been disappointed.
Always a pleasant experience at Towne! Although I work for another bar in town, it's always good to change up the scenery and see some different faces lolAlways greeted by everyone when you walk in.Always enjoy their wings and this time I tried the Carolina Blue cocktail ????
I can't remember the last time I had chicken strips this good!!! Carolina Gold is SOOO GOOD!!! I'm so glad I listed to the staff about this. Fantastic food, fantastic drinks, THE BEST PRICES, SERVICE IN TOWN!!!
Usually have really great experiences here but the last few times I have been less than impressed. Ordered the potato skins and they are just fries. Just fries with cheese and bacon. And then ordered extra ranch for our chicken and we got 1 out of the 3. ONE. And I paid for 2 extra so a total of three. This has happened so many times of the last couple of orders. Quality has differently gone downhill.
a week agoNEWWing King in Charlotte has held the crown for wings for me since I moved to the Charlotte area over 20 years ago....Towne Tavern is giving them a serious run for their money! I've had them 3 times and they get better each time and they're great. Cooked and seasoned perfectly.

Good food, very poor service. My family orders takeout from here a decent amount. There is a pretty high chance they get at least one person’s order wrong. When they get the order(s) right, the food is good. Tonight, I asked for a loaded steak sandwich with no mushrooms or onions, with a side of Mac n cheese. When I opened up the container, not only were there mushrooms all over the sandwich, but they forgot to put the Mac n cheese in the bag, which is at least the fourth time of that incident I have counted. Would be a 5/5 if they got the order right. The food is good, but I have to worry about them actually giving me the right food in the first place.
Food was great!! Love the casual fun atmosphere!! Beef on Weck was SO good!!
