We unfortunately had quite an experience the last time we went in. It seemed that everyone that was dining in or taking out around the same time as us was also unhappy with the service. I understand staffing can be an issue these days but it was still quite a mix up. I confirmed my order with the lady taking my order to ensure the order was correct. Unfortunately when we received it only 1 item was correct. I tried to call them and she answered and made it clear she didn't understand me so she hung up. Then they ignored my call for the next 20 mins. My husband went to the restaurant to have it corrected and they did fix it. During the time my husband waited for the items to be corrected he witnessed multiple people walking out in frustration, dine in customers getting up and going to the other staff in the back to request items. Hope they can try and avoid issues like this but we will not be returning.

The food was good as usual; but our waitress left a lot to be desired. We waited at least 30 minutes after the table was cleared and than had to interrupt her to get her check so we could leave.

The best restau in IL. Can't beat the price/quality/volume ratio. I dare ya. Fajitas Al Diablo are the best and give me minimum 2 meals... sometimes 3!

Not sure what went wrong here! We've ordered from here before via doordash with no issues so we thought we'd try in-person.Initially gave us 2/4 silverware packs when we sit down. Not an issue since we'd get more when the food arrived. Ordered waters, drinks for the kids, and our meals. Also asked for a drink menu.Drink menu was dropped off and then never a word if we wanted a drink. Food arrived, still missing silverware, so we asked for two more since we were short. That never came either. Had to go to the bar to ask for two sets after 10 minutes and no one stopping by. Only then did someone briefly asked if the food was OK (it wasn't bad).Waited another 15 minutes for the check. No one again so we had to go back to the bar to ask for the check. After checking the items we were back at the bar to pay. Wait for another 12 as three iced drinks were made and people came and went. Finally asked if we could pay our bill. Clock in another 10 while the machine froze and I waited. All in all delivery is fine but there is no chance I would go in-person again.

Their chicken soup is amazing but the workers don't seem to enjoy their jobs at all. I stopped coming here because of the unprofessionalism and lack of kindness in the workers. They stare when you walk in-. There are other places we can enjoy.

I've eaten at this place a couple times and all in all it's good I had the shrimp fajitas

Unfortunately swing and a miss. All of our meats tasted day old and the rice tastes prepackaged and not fresh. Salsa was incredibly bland, will not be going back. Oh and my diaper looked like an exploded baby diaper.

Use to love this place, my recent visit was one that will have me not returning. Service was less then friendly. I had a to go order and ended up coming back once I got home because they had forgotten tortillas, when I got home the second time and open them up they where dirty and had food cross-contamination all over them. I work in the food service industry and these workers clearly don’t like their job at this establishment. I won’t be back. Margaritas is right down the road and they much nicer.

The food was very good. We placed a large take-out order and it was ready when promised. When we got home though we food that they forgot to include the tortillas for the fajitas and one other dish. We were too hungry to go back for them. Even checking the order before we left didn't catch this...

Ok, let me honestly tell you what I wish I had known before going to this place, despite the extra generous reviews I had read. The most important thing, the food is pretty bad. Surely it is edible if you are very hungry, but it is still bad. Carne asada (steak) was poor quality, lots of hard parts and over spiced/salty. Chicken was bland and chewy. The fried beans tasted canned. YUCK. Huge Margarita... no alcohol, if any, tasted like all mixer.Secondly, the staff are not experienced at all. There seems to be no management. They will bring you the wrong order several times in a row, and nobody seems to worry too much. I could not believe it. I saw the other tables around us getting frustrated as well. I felt bad for the kids serving, but nobody seemed to be in charge or care about anything. It was like everyone’s first week of work ever. They even brought us the check without even asking for it when we still had most of the food on our plate which, of course, we could not finish by far. By the time we left, around 8pm on a weekend, the place was completely empty. How can this business operate and still be profitable is what I wonder... At your own risk
