I went here the other day, and as my first experience going to a Sabor, I was anticipating something really good. I ordered the Especial Burrito with steak. Because it was a hefty upcharge for the meat, I figured it had to be pretty good and a decent quantity. What I received was a relatively small burrito which for 14 dollars, which had me concerned. Upon eating it, I noticed that there was hardly any meat in it at all. I mean maybe 4 tiny pieces. It also was lacking in every other ingredient that was supposed to be in there. Lastly it didn't even taste particularly good, like, there was a strange flavor to it. I feel completely ripped off and tried to contact the company about it but they never responded. Unless they would be willing to refund me, or give me credit to try something different, I don't see myself ever going back to any location again. I am disappointed.
Being from Texas I try to not be so hard. I had the beef tacos. I ordered 3 and ate 1. I was only visiting but would not visit again. Queso was not bad that is the reason for 2 stars
Always been great since the first time I was introduced probably three or 4 years ago. Not the most authentic, but definitely a very distinctive and a good taste to the food. Will definitely be returning many times over.
Always clean, staff is really nice - My husband was given the wrong beer, but we weren't worried about it, we sat down to wait for our food and the girl that took our order bought him the beer he wanted anyway. The Sabor nachos are great. Get a Tacos Autenticos with Al Pastor! The kid's menu is a nice blend of traditional and Americanized foods to make every happy.
The food is really good but the pricing structure is ridiculous. I normally would not write a review under 5 stars, but I'm hoping that someone up the ladder sees this and makes a change. For example if you get an Epic Protein bowl the base price is 9.95. adding basics like pico, sour cream, shredded cheese, and cilantro have an individual cost, so the price of the bowl goes up to $12 immediately. If you wanted veggies, lettuce, tomato, and onion, you're at $14. For me, the portion of chicken or steak is not enough, and an add on of extra is $3. For $17-20, it makes me definitely look elsewhere unless I feel like spending the extra. I would be more inclined to go there often if the portion was larger and the extras were included at a higher cost that was set.The food is good. Much better than chipotle or Moe's.
Not happy. I ordered Sausage (chorizo) empanadas to go and I got chicken ones. The chicken is so hard and dry. Also, I think that $3.95 plus taxes for one empanada is too much. Not real Latin food just imitation. Come to my house to teach you how to cook real Hispanic meals.
Excellent food, their burritos are to die for. Owner is the nicest guy imaginable, and all the employees are very nice.My only complaint would be the excessive oil on some of the empanadas, but you can get rid of that easily with a paper towel believe it or not. Empanadas are delicious regardless- must have if you're in the area, and I do not say that lightly.
Better than Chipotle! Have eaten here more times than I can count. Everything is so good & fresh. Taco Salad Bowl is my go to. All proteins are good. (I do love chipotle but the food here is fresher, healthier)
This was great! The price for the amount of food was on pointTaste was awesome, the hot sauce and salsa was so damn good!Service was also great.Easy 5 out of 5.I'd choose this place over Moe's, Qdoba, and Chipotle easily
So good! It was a lot of food, made fresh and VERY tasty! The staff was helpful and friendly. We both got the Thursday special: Arepa & Empanada.
