Interesting things you notice when you travel a lot, and eat at many locations of a franchise. This was the most expensive Panda express in a long while. I'm using up gift cards traveling in NC & SC this week. My usual is orange chicken and walnut shrimp with ( not really very) fried rice. The food was factory fresh? and warm-ish. Only two cars in drive-thru but a huge mess inside... Obviously long lines. Obviously understaffed and didn't appear to be anyone in charge. No Team leader. My bill was $2 more than the menu board ( already high) should have been. I didn't notice until after eating, in my car.... Place was too busy to go in and ask -- why--. Just generally I find the local hole-in-the- wall mom/ pop places have more/ better food. Nothing wrong with what I got, just not great or a reasonable price.
Great food, portions were nice as well. Would ? eat again despite being slightly overpriced. Overall very yummy ?
Inside Carowinds and always busy, the worst thing is that at most of the eateries if you have a dinning plan you get the same portion of food as everyone else, after all you are paying for it, it's no free. So why are we given less than half of a normal portion. It's a tiny bowl with your noodles or rice at the bottom and you main on top. Never enough.
The price of 2 entree + 1 side is 17$ + tax. Over priced menu items & portion given is not at all worth 18$. They are closed for employees break from 4pm to 5pm. The size of tray used to serve the dishes is small. There is a huge line of 30 people standing in line because there is only 1 employee taking care of taking order and then the line follows slowly to checkout as well because there is only 1 employee at the checkout counter as well. I wonder how they are not concerned of a huge line of people standing in line to take food and they don't even add additional employee to take care of the rush of people standing in queue to eat food from panda express. It's better to try at other places if you are super hungry because the wait is so long here that your hunger gets killed by starvation by the time you get your food into your hand. Very short staffed place. And there is only 1 person handling the kitchen to cook food.
Normally I love Panda Express but I just want to say the food there is awful the chicken is okay but it tasted as if they microwaved it and made the sauce to confuse the flavors but the Chow Mein is kinda hard and the flavor is un-enjoyable.
0 STARS i don’t even know where to begin…- Terrible costumer service- The employees have terrible communication skills- You can’t get a bowl unless you made a “Meal Plan” (online order ahead) so now you have to get a $15 plate…- Menu is very limited- Fountain drinks are over $5- FOUNTAIN DRINKS ARE OVER 5$

The was fine, place was clean but didn't have the appropriate essence. And you are FORCED TO ORDER ONLINE IN ORDER TO GET A TO GO CONTAINER. NO you can't a container. Ordering at the counter means you get a plate and you're either going to eat it or throw what you can't finish away which is a terrible waste!!!! That alone blew my food experience at carowinds

I wanted sesame chicken which is on the menu but they weren't serving it that day. I was upset but I got the orange chicken it was ok.
Even by theme park standards this place is very basic. I like the Panda Express at King's Island and Cedar Point much better. My son loves Panda Express, but somehow he got sick after eating here. I felt fine however.
