I agree with others, do NOT be put off that the restaurant is connected to a hotel. The staff was extremely friendly & welcoming, you'll be seated immediately. The food was fantastic!!! See below photos to understand why my belly was excited for this meal. ? I will definitely be coming back. We were pleasantly surprised at how strong the house margarita special was(only drink one if you're driving, it sneaks up on you). Highly recommend!
We decided to eat at Panchito's Mexican Grill because we were hungry, and The Cracker Barrell had too long of a wait, and I'm glad we came here. Our Host and Server were on point with getting our party of 5 seated w/ Chips and Salsa to start. My food was good and fulfilling, and my adult drink hit the spot too. To say the least, I'd go again if I'm ever in Charlotte, NC near Carowinds.
This place was SO good in my opinion. I have been looking for good Mexican food for years and while there are a few decent places I've found, this one did everything our family ordered really well. It's a little off the beaten path but Istrongly recommend it. I think the only thing I was disappointed in was the frozen margaritas...I should be able to taste alcohol in it but just NOTHING. that's a shame.
Don't be at all turned off by the fact that they are physically connected to the Clarion. I was traveling from Florida to up north and happened upon this place. I was thinking a couple of drinks and something edible and I'd be happy. Got a fajita quesadilla to go....went to my room, had a beer, then ate. Let me tell you, best Mexican I have ever had!! Everything cooked perfectly and you couldn't miss the fresh taste of everything including the obviously just made salsa they give you with the fresh made chips. If you are in the area.... don't miss this hidden jewel!!!
Food is delicious and service was great. We ordered takeout the first time and were very pleased. Tonight we dined in and were not disappointed.We will definitely come back.
No flavor on foood... They advertised fresh guacamole but wasn't fresh at all... They need to improve on food
I really don't understand these 4-5 star reviews. This place was so empty when we went and our waitress was very rude and not every welcoming. We ordered our food and when it came out it looked like a hot mess. The food was so dried out and the rice was even hard. The kids meals came with fries and they tasted like they were cooked in oil that had been used for months. My daughter had a beef quesadilla and it looked like a taco just thrown together. The kids burrito looked like it could take a kid 3 bites and it would be gone. I would never go back and can't believe I fell for the good reviews.
Very delicious! Ordered the queso birria tacos and they were so good. They also have micheladas which complemented the tacos
This place has the absolute best Mexican food and so listen to this, since the pandemic they are still packed out on weekends because Sara our waitress the Manager himself who remembers u from day one and the other waitress so get what I said only 2 count them 2 waitress served the entire full restaurant in record tire under stress and pressure with a dang smile. What an amazing place and again the food is always great. Also a very nice clean place and friendly staff.
We were very hungry, and we're not very picky when it comes to Mexican. But this place was underwhelming. The food was very bland (lunch menu).. the drinks were good, but that was it. We complained, didn't touch our food and still had to pay the bill. We were offered replacements but no one was happy with their food, so replace with what? It was sad. Don't go here if you want authentic Mexican.
