We don't eat out often, but when we do, Hobo's is on our list of top 5 in Fort Mill. We've been here several times as a family and with extended family. We like the Chicken & Waffles, Burgers, Cauliflower Steak Quesadilla, Cobb Salad, Spiked Shakes. It also has a good variety of beers on tap. Kids menu is decent as well relative to other places. Staff has always been friendly.

I have had positive experiences here before but this last time was terrible. Waitstaff wasn't attentive, and the wait for food was ridiculous. It took almost an hour to get the food we ordered. My burger was missing ingredients. My son's grilled cheese, as you can see in the picture, looks more like toast with cheese melted then left to cool. My family and I won't be dining there again. A long wait for food with young kids is difficult, then when the food comes and it's inedible it makes for a bad time.
Best Hamburger around the area (Including Charlotte), 10/10! If you have not gone to this place you don't know what a good hamburger is! Not to mention the extreme good starters. Note: The locomotive Hamburger is impressive!!!
Apps and craft brew beer. I recommend the build your own fries. They were good. The beer was great!
Their grilled cheese burger is so good! It’s super filling (I had to finish the 2nd half the next day) this place also has awesome alcoholic milkshakes! I love taking my Florida friends out to this place! Plus they have an outdoor area you can bring your dogs
Was really looking forward to eating here again. Service was absolutely horrible this time. Took 40 minutes for waitstaff to take our order and another 30 minutes for food to come out. The food was great. But had to track down waitstaff twice. Was told they had a large party come in (15 minutes after we were seated). Waitress barely acknowledged us. And when done just took our plates away never asking us if we wanted to box leftovers. Never saw her again. No one ever even asked if we needed refills of drinks as we waited. Manager came out to apologize for wait. Food again was very good and will try once more, but if this is the pattern will not come back
It was O.K. Wife's fish was raw inside, which they replaced with chicken tenders. My bacon-cheeseburger was good. The waitress was trying to do a good job but the restaurant was obviously lacking an adequate number of wait staff. Overall, a somewhat disappointing experience as Hobo's was recommended to us, but didn't live up to the recommendation.
Stopped in for a lunch on Christmas Eve and had a fabulous lunch with a patty melt I forget what it's actually called and adult milkshakes which were phenomenal. Our server was excellent. Always a great time at Hobo's, highly recommended.
I love this place!The food is awesome.It's always clean.Portions are almost out of control.I have never ordered anything here that didn't taste awesome.And while I personally don't indulge in much of anything of the alcoholic variety, you are sure to find anything for your tastes at the bar - including some seriously innovative and tempting alcoholic ice cream floats!So why 4 stars and not 5?Unfortunately, it is due to the hit or miss service and time that it takes to get your food.We have eaten here on 5 different occasions and during different times of the day and week.While the volume of customers in the place may vary wildly, the time from ordering to table arrival is fairly consistently slow.Now on the upside, that all but assures that the food will be beautifully prepared and hot off the grill, but if you are in a hurry to get to another appointment, it makes the experience a bit more hectic to throw back and gobble up in an effort to get to the next place.But if you've got time to just chill and want some delicious grub, you will have a hard time finding better bar food.If you're in a hurry?You'll still have a hard time finding better bar food, but you will be late getting to the next place you need to be!
Place was Almost empty, nobody took care of us, after asking 3 times what was happening , 3 teenagers doing nothing at the front desk just said.. sorry we are a little busy with back orders.. finally someone took the order and came very fast.
