This place is next to none in Indian Land! The managers, servers, ambience, food quality and value bring us back to dine in several times a month. We are from New Orleans and used to great food. We overlooked this restaurant for a few years thinking it was just a typical sports bar… we came one day with neighbors and found a place close to home which gives us all the above. Nick, Dustin and John and all the managers and as well as Tamisha, Olivia, Madison and all servers go over and beyond to make sure our expectations are well taken care off.Hats off to Hickory Tavern Indian Land!!
My bf and I came here for lunch and were the only patrons besides one other table. We were seated quickly but that was the only thing that went quick here. We ordered an app that wasn’t cooked all the way(dip that was cold in the middle). We ordered drinks that remained empty for the entire meal after kindly asking for refills. Main course was less than satisfying and a big bill at the end made for a sad afternoon. Wouldn’t come back.
The hosts were amazing! These queens greeted me and my family as soon as we walked in the door and let us choose where we would like to sit. The server at our table did not miss a single thing as we ordered a lot of meals and appetizers. After being seated close to the hosts and watched the restaurant while waiting on our food, the place was lively! All the servers and hosts seemed to be doing their job to a tee as they moved and worked with efficiency. Not to mention the food! These cooks need a raise because this food was absolutely amazing and these hosts made sure to tell my family and I to have a great nice which put a smile on all of our places. Definitely recommend coming here because we will be back!
Service is atrocious. Last Tuesday The Teen Queens at the host desk promptly seated us and then the fun started. After 15 minutes without a server coming to the table, made a trip back to the Teen Queens host desk where they were enjoying a game of cards and checking their phones. Asked about a server, to which Teen Queen #1 asked “do you have menus on your table”, to which I responded “of course we do, you put them there when you seated us”. She scratched her head, walked around the dining room, talked to two servers, told us someone would be right with us and then returned to her card game. After another 10 minutes, we just got up and left. On the way out the door, the Teen Queens thanked us for coming in. Guess I could have been a Karen and asked for a manager, but then again a good manager would have been on the floor managing. Seriously need to get some decent people to manage this place.Update.. Regional Manager Nicole did reach out and ask for feedback. She even offered to meet me at the location to ensure my next visit is enjoyable. May take her up on the offer, but going to give it some time for her to correct the issues. At least someone there is trying to be customer focused.
My wife and I had lunch today and a had a really good experience. Dustin greeted us at the door. He had a great attitude and was happy to wipe the table off and seat us. Our server Jordan did an excellent job Food was very good.Really recommend dining here
Service was great food was grwat but menu changes weren't the best. Yes, we really liked the French dip. But, we also didn't ask if it's available either. I ordered a Dark and Stormy. I was told you hand gosling dark rum and ginger beer. But, it was definitely made with a light rum like Bacardi and it just didn't go well.
Three of us went to this Hickory Tavern location and not one of us had anything good things to say about it. Since when do they serve you a burger on two slices of bread? The Hickory Tavern salad was blah, the chili was blah, and the chicken tenders were blah. The only good thing were the sweet potato fries. Even the water had a funky taste. Will not be returning.
Place was clean , staff was ok ,menu needs revamping ,Steak was fantastic and cooked perfectlyGreat job thereMy buffalo tacos was a frozen then fried chicken strip With hot sauce on it kinda a bummer that they couldn’t do shredded or chopped grilled chicken , margarita absolutely sucked absolutely nothing good about it payed full price and left 75% of the drink on the bar !!My experience some of the food items need a little southern charm !!
What a great experience... Promptly greeted and seated. Waitress acknowledged us and came back to get drink and app order! Impressed! Everyone was friendly, quick and moving about! Only quirk is the final bill was charged different from what I wrote on the credit card tab. Minor dispute but other than that, GREAT! We will definitely be back!!PS had the 55day aged ribeye and it was cooked perfectly, koodos to the chef!!
Upon arrival we are always pleasantly greeted and given a choice of seating.The servers are all very attentive to our needs and although the menu is vast we typically enjoy the selection of burgers and of course along with a fresh salad.Always absolutely satisfied and never disappointed.
