Friday night we spent $95 (to go order) on sushi. It was the most subpar sushi we've ever had, including the "specialty" rolls. They barely had anything in them, they were loosely rolled (when you picked them up they would start falling apart,) and the "fried" ones were not fried at all. Just super subpar. Not worth the $ if you're wanting sushi.
Absolutely loved this place ! First time going and I picked up some lunch the wait time to pick up was super short, the salad dressing was really good definitely recommend this place ! Prices and food were perfect!
Good food. Nice quiet, laid back, yet intimate setting. Also the food prices are affordable, definitely one of my go to spots for lunch
I agree with everyone else. The lady is kind of rude and there’s no customer service but that didn’t really bother me. The place is too dark which throws off the vibe for dinner. The food was ok. My broccoli was raw and cold but my chicken was hot. The reason for the two star review is they do NOT have their sanitation score posted (which concerns me because it’s dark in there) and they charge 10% sales tax. I hope this is an error in their point of sale and not them being dishonest. Hope they fix these things. Hate to even post this review to hurt a small business but take this to improve your business.
Just tried to eat lunch here. My husband and I waited for a few minutes when we walked in to be acknowledged and seated. No big deal, a lot of restaurants are short staffed and we get it. No apology for the wait or acknowledgement that we had to wait. We were seated and she threw the menus down on the table and got our drink orders and walked off. Maybe she was in a hurry. Her demenier was very short as she took our order borderline rude. We were served our salad and my husband asked for chopsticks. She literally threw it down on the table and walked off. I called her back over to the table and canceled our order and asked for the check. I have never had such rude behavior from someone I was trying to give money to. She made us pay for our salads, even though we didn't touch them. Whatever, not going to fight over two salads. We left and had much better service elsewhere. Won't be back.
Food is always delicious!! Sushi is excellent and the soups are never overcooked and are full of flavor. Never had a bad meal here
My family has dined in and taken out from Hanako and have always been very pleased with the quality of food. We have tried a wide range of dishes over the years and all were delicious. While many local Asian restaurants start out strong and decrease in quality quickly, Hanako stays consistently great.
I am very disappointed with the treatment that I received here. The lady didn’t seem to except that I don’t want any meet on my plate as it is often undercooked. I got charged for the whole meal instead of the rice being a side. This was a to go order and the outcome was very poor. Disappointed once again this won’t be a place I would come to with that kind of treatment.
I think this is actually the best around here , the fried chicken wings are amazing , love the Singapore noodle , and scallion chicken , everything we have tried has been great . Also the hot and sour soup is the best around as well .
Good quality, but small portion. Mini sashimi for 25$ ?!?
