Fantastic food and service. Alex waited on us and was delightful. The specials were out of this world. Cannot recommended the mushroom ravioli special enough… but with pomodoro sauce. My husband had the bone in veal parm. Excellent.
We have dined here a few times and the food is acceptable - service rather slow but most insulting part was gratuity added to our check 2 people. It was more than 20%. I asked the server & she offered to have the manager come & explain. I declined her offer because there could be no explanation for this. I will never return.
We were quickly sat and had high hopes for birthday dinner out. Waited 15 minutes for someone to come to the table. We had to flag down other witnesses just for water. Never given a wine list or asked about drinks other than water. Our orders took almost an hour even though no one else appeared to have ordered around the same time. Food was over priced, underwhelming, and oddly portioned. The pasta described as coming with meatballs and sausage had only half a sausage and two measly meatballs for almost $20... not the birthday dinner we had hoped for.
With an Attractions BOGO coupon in hand, my wife and I were first-time visitors here for lunch. We arrived before opening and walked around Baxter Village until the restaurant opened...just a few minutes. We were welcomed and seated by Janae, who appeared to be doing everything in the dining room, including answering the phone. The menu had many great-sounding entrees, and we chose Manicotti and Chicken Parm. While we were waiting on the food to arrive, Janae provided some delicious fresh bread and dipping oil. Food arrived in good time and was delicious. Portions were large enough that we each ate half and took the leftovers home for another meal (we traded them). The dining room was pleasant and Janae provided excellent service. We'll definitely be back!
Nice decor and genuine Italian food. Plus great New York / New Jersey style pizza. Also has nice selection of wines and drinks.
Really good food. My order was slightly off once but they gave me half off and made another order the correct way for me to take home. This place has really good food and from my experience I have to assume the owners are good people who are making an honest living and making stomachs happy in the process! Definitely try this place. I live 5 minutes away and had no idea it was here!
My boyfriend and I went to Fratelli in Baxter on Valentine’s day, and we were MORE than pleased with the experience!!! Our server, Alex was literally amazing, and apparently she was brand new too! We were super impressed with the prompt and friendly service she provided, and the food was delicious! Five out of Five stars, we will definitely ask for her in the future!
They publish BOGO entree coupons regularly so went last night with a friend. Showed the coupon when we ordered, and our server said she would take it when we pay. She took it, but then she apologized saying she forgot to apply it. We asked for the $15 correction to be applied in whatever way was easiest so she got the owner to help. He then comes over and said we could only use it if it was one bill. We explained it was only one bill but we each paid half. He still said no. It definitely wasn't worth the price paid. I feel like they upcharge because most people are going to have the coupon. Salmeris in Fort Mill is so much better for less money Hope the extra $15 was worth losing a customer and getting a bad review.
Fratelli is our go-to restaurant. My daughter is type 1 diabetic and I know the staff is going to measure and get her carbs right. Joe and the whole team treat us like family. We’ve had company gatherings here and everyone always enjoys it.
Yet again, we tried; this was our 5th time just FYI. Service was so slow; mind you the all teenage staff were polite and delightful; it was not their fault. The restaurant was virtually empty yet it took 2 hours to get 2 beverages, soup and dinner. The food was subpar. Soup was cool and tasted like it came from a can. The side of broccoli was a joke; barely any broccoli and all green peppers! What??? Who adds green peppers to a side of broccoli? The 2 entrees, chicken and veal, were so "smothered" in thick sauces they were barely palatable. The veal sauce tasted like a sweet/sour sauce from an Asian restaurant; thick, way too sweet and cold, despite the steaming pasta served with it. The sauce with the chicken was pasty thick, something white. No more tries, we are done.
