Hours are wrong on Google. They don't take Google pay (or any other NFC pay) because they haven't updated their machines to current tech. Employees are really nice. Lines are long because you can't you can't order inside. Wish I could give them a 5 star but just spent 15-20 min in a car line only to not be able to purchase anything cause of their outdated machines. Sad day.
4 stars for the ice cream. no matter how many times I get the burgers at dairy queen they always taste like they get some frozen burgers out the freezer and throw it in the microwave. other than that ice cream and cheese curds pretty good.
We usually have no issue ordering here, but we waited in line for what felt like ages. We didn't even get to the window yet to order. We had groceries in the car and I didn't know how long we'd be stuck there, so we left the line and got fast service at Arby's up the road instead.
They're always super nice! They're also always super busy. Even with that, they always have smiles on their faces and remain professional! It's always a pleasure coming here!
Really busy and seemed a little slow. The staff was kinda flustered but did still have smiles and looked like they were trying just overwhelmed. I would go back. Maybe it was just a rough night.
My very first visit ever to Dairy Queen was a little disappointing. I gave my order, twice, and had to repeat it a third time. When I got to the window, the order was wrong. The second time again had to give my order three times and they got it wrong again. And this time they even repeated, correctly, and still got it wrong. I really enjoy DQ food but I'm in no hurry to go back. And it's a good thing I looked in the bag before I left. How many people have driven away and found out their order was wrong when they got home??
This location is committed to giving the best possible experience to it's customers. Yes, the line is long and it takes a while to get your order sometimes. But to all complaints I used to work in a fast food restaurant during the pandemic and let me just say this...every business on every corner is hiring and hiring at wages way higher than they would have ever considered before..why??? Because every business is so short staffed because hardly anyone wants to work during this time. It has been a very trying time in the world. These employees work themselves to the bone! Everytime I visit, I notice all of the hard work being put in with the manager being the one to do more than one job at a time. She is always there and always so sweet and nice to me even though you know she's got to be exhausted! I couldn't help but comment after reading some of the complaints. You can definitely tell some people have never worked fast food or customer service type jobs before and certainly not during the pandemic. I have to say bravo to management and crew!!! Y'all are awesome everytime I come through the drive-thru. Especially the manager with the blonde hair (I believe her name is Denise) Thank you Dairy Queen Fort Mill for all your hard work. It doesn't go unnoticed:)<3
I live an hour away from this DQ. If We are in the Fort Mill area we make sure to stop here for food. I must say that my food has always been hot and fresh. Friendly and accurate service. I have not been disappointed!! Keep up the good work! Please! And thank you.
This place would be better if you would just open your dining room. I mean having to wait 20 plus minutes for food in the drive thru… and Ice cream too. Once I get home, I’ve got milkshake gravy…. Because it’s no longer frozen, it’s thin and a waste of money because it’s not good to eat. Really disappointed in the drive thru at the place. Lately we have had to go elsewhere for Ice cream because of this.
