This specific branch is amazing. Food was really good. I honestly think their steak here is so much better than the ones I've had in Brazilian Steak houses I've been to. People are very hospitable. All the way from the man that joined us in line to the lady that checked us in, our waitress, the servers, the kitchen cooks, the manager and the cashier -they were all above and beyond.
We were greeted immediately by a couple of employees. We were seated and Alanna was our server. She was very sweet and efficient. We never ran out of coffee! The food was out so quickly, that we were joking with Alanna about being a mind reader. (Meaning she told the cooks what she thought we would order.) It sure was refreshing to see employees that were enjoying their job.
My family and I always come to this Cracker Barrel.... No, seriously.... it's at least once a week, but today we had the most exceptional server and I wanted to sing his praises. He was pleasant, meticulous, and attentive. Please go see Jamal if you're visiting the Fort Mill, SC location. He was wonderful!
Stopped in for breakfast, first time to this location. Service was quick enough, but eggs seemed a little colder than expected. One of our meals, the eggs were cooked properly, but the other(ordered medium) one was more well and the other was over easy. You would think they would be at least the same cook. Two kids plates were a little sparse and expected a little more. Maybe it was just an off day in the kitchen.
I have not found a dinner entry at Cracker Barrel that I have enjoyed. So I usually don't dine at one. My mother suggested breakfast here. I was hesitant, but it was really tasty.I also love biscuits with sausage gravy... But I'd skip ordering that here. I can't even describe the taste. Not good.But everything else was good. I would definitely return... For breakfast.
The food was good. Service good and in no hurry anyway. Had a gift card and refused to accept because it didn't have a pin number. Was told I had to call to get the pin number so when I called could not get one so ended up paying for the meal instead of gift card with no expiration date. Still has not been resolved because they are unable to process my request. Did love Cracker Barrel but changing my mind now. The cashier tried to get help but wasn't much because she told me I had to call to get the pin number. She didn't even try to help. Guess she was too busy. Other times have been great but disappointed in this one. Guess once you get a gift card better use it right away. ?
Felt disgusted eating my meal after seeing how much of a filth show the restroom was. That’s the first thing most people see before they dine in, the restroom. 3 of the toilets were clogged with toilet paper and feces, the tampon box was over flowing, and the smell of the dirty restroom made me gag. Overall the food tasted DECENT, but was not even warm. Our waitress didn’t seem very attentive, and sure she sure didn’t seem to care about her job. This Cracker Barrel used to be so much better, cleaner, and used to actually serve hot food. Now, if you use the restroom before sitting down, your first impression will leave you so nauseous that you won’t enjoy your meal. Oh- and don’t even bother to tell the manager about your experience. He didn’t seem to care at all…save your money. I didn’t even feel comfortable telling him about the temperature of the food because of how he acted when I respectfully told him I was disgusted about the conditions of the restroom.
Very disappointed in the food quality... I had placed an order through DoorDash recently and the food was just okay. But I noticed smalled portions. I decided to give them another shot and pick up my order this time. The portion size for the hashbrown casserole was laughable. When I asked the manager she said the portion was correct and was actually a little larger than what it was supposed to be. I know that was a lie because when I have dined in the portion Ive gotten has been way bigger. I understand that things in our world are changing but the money I pay should be for decent portions of food. And if the price needs to be increased to give customers more than kiddie size portions than do that.
Love this place even though I am originally from NYC. I guess I have southern blood. All the food is priced very decently and the friend chick is to die for.
