Went here after seeing their reviews. How can anyone rate this place so high?? The buffet was small compared to others I have been in, the seafood was tried by the wife. She said it was horrible that Wendy's prepared food better (she HATES Wendy's). I tried the dried out BBQ with not much flavor. The chicken and rice was greasy at best with little flavor. The hushpuppies were great!! The peach cobbler was about gone and what was there was dried up. The waitress I must admit was excellent. As my wife said this was a twofer dinner. Meaning first and last visit for us.
The food was wonderful however I didn’t feel welcome. ! My guest and I felt that we were a burden. The cashiers attitude was terrible. While waiting the workers were walking by saying slick stuff & constantly saying they were ready to go and how tired they were , if it wasn’t for us being hungry we would’ve left.Food is Good but attitudes were terrible. Some of them were nice.
Woodstone is an outstanding restaurant . I went on a Sunday and of course there was the church crowd. I opted to get my food to go and didn’t mind waiting. They are very organized and the food is absolutely deliciously worth it.
Great variety for the money. Friendly staff who kept the buffet full of food and our drinks topped off.
Because of the graduations taking place, the place was packed. However, I can say that the food was still delicious and fresh! The couple that was with us had never been to the restaurant before and they were very pleased with the food, so much that they are going to bring someone else there. Will definitely be returning!
Great food and great people. Have been here a few times. Never had a problem with anything.A few months back, while we were getting ready to leave, I realized I had lost something.Cancer took my husband in 2019.I had his thumbprint engraved on a memorial dog tag.I was panicking because it was not in my pocket. The staff on noticing that I was looking for something, and in panic mode started helping me look all over the area. They went into the parking lot looking, they checked everywhere they thought I had been.My sister called my mom and said she found the tag on the floor at their house.The staff went above and beyond that day for me, and I cannot thank them enough
Really enjoyed our visit! Extremely friendly and professional staff! The food was awesome, cooked with love and care, the taste of everything was very down home, we will definitely be coming back! Highly recommend!
We ate there today for the first time. The staff was very friendly and pleasant. The good was exactly what I wanted, southern cooking with a variety of choices. We will definitely go back.
We came there as a group after a funeral, they had a nice area for us all, server was excellent. The food was excellent and wide variety. The dessert was as well. We really enjoyed out experience there.
This place is over priced. I have been here multiple times but tonight was terrible! I was charged more than stated by cashier. The BBQ was extremely dry. I had to ask 2 different waitresses before they would bring any tarter sauce. She completely ignored our table unless I chased her down! We will definitely not be back! We will drive to Scranton to the Schoolhouse! This place is very overpriced for the product they deliver. Employees need courses in common courtesy and basic customer service!
