Enjoyed the buffet as items were fresh, fried chicken, pork chops, soul food as described delicious. The salad bar is well stocked. The price is right. Only a slight down side is the desert is really lacking. Wait staff friendly and kind. Quick on refills.
I give 1 star for the bread and 1 star for the staff. To be fair we did not come earlier in the day but, everyone eating after the sun goes down deserves good food too. I did love the bread that was placed at our table upon arrival. They do provide gloves if you don't want to touch the utensils to pick the food up which is very courtesy. Those southern greens had the perfect sweetness, I don't hate it just needs some special attention to the condition of the food after dark.
This is the first time since the pandemic that I’ve eaten at a buffet and BOYYYY did we choose the WRONG PLACE!!! So my mom wanted to ride to South Carolina to go a store and we decided to try this place because we hadn’t been here since I was a kid. Everything was disgusting!!! I’m currently swatting flies…..the food was unseasoned, mostly over cooked and dry as ever! The tables and salt and pepper shakers were dirty. My mom did say the banana pudding was good. All we wanted was some soul food and this wasn’t it! Don’t waste your time or money!!!
All of the buffet looked hot and fresh, you can also order a meal. There daily specials. You will not go away hungry. They serve the best rolls at the table. Don't forget to tip, service is very good. Have fun.
Overall for the price it is well worth it especially if you want a nice salad they have a fully loaded clean salad bar that is packed with fresh veggies. The hot bar could be better when it's busier times we went Saturday around 230pm and by the time they bring out food to freshen the bar up I was done full from banana pudding that stuff is amazing I don't know what they make it with but it's better then any restaurants I've tasted. They need to have food prepped and ready to come out when 1 pan empties but that was an issue Saturday I couldn't even get any sweet taters bummer
First impression upon entering was great. All the staff was very nice and wanted to help. Didn't mind explaining the menu. Made suggestions. We ordered steak tops and only got like 4-5 pieces which was not a lot at all. Our waitress strongly (forced) suggested my husband talk to the manager and he was eager to fix it.
Stayed at hotel next door and walked over. So glad we did. Down home southern buffet. Hostess was very friendly and kind as was staff. Food was exceptional .If we lived nearby we would go weekly....it's not fancy but it's good ??Thanks for a great meal and treating us so kindly after a long day of driving.
Great food and service! Clean restrooms! The price was affordable! The staff was very friendly! They keep the food items stocked! Will definitely stop again!
The food here MIGHT be edible if you get here early. We got in 90 minutes before closing to find all the containers looking picked over with some items dried up and some resting in greasy broth. Nothing was freshened or refilled during our visit. Bits of food all over. It was the most unappetizing buffet I’ve ever seen. I tried one dried up dessert and couldn’t guess what it was supposed to be. My husband’s very unsatisfactory steak was about a half inch thick and tough. The reason I gave this establishment 2 stars was that our waitress was very helpful and attentive.
I sampled several of the entrées, meatloaf and fish. Both were cold and unappetizing. I had 3 sides, black eyed peas, rice and cabbage. All were cold as well. They tout their rolls and they were very good. With the number of patrons at the time of my visit, I expected a higher quality of food for the price.
