Food was fresh & hot, delicious ? I had shrimp and oysters. Definitely got my money's worth ,
When the long lines at McDonald’s and Wendy’s had me down, I decided to drive a little past them and try Orangeland Seafood. What a pleasant surprise! In under 12 minutes I had fresh catfish — perfectly fried, not greasy AT ALL, and served “to go” piping hot! Generous portions — 2 fillets for the sandwich— and really satisfying. This will be my new stop on my way back and forth from VA to FL. Now be advised: everything is fried. But it’s done very well, based on my initial visit. Both owners appeared to be on-site and I think that makes a difference. I recommend Orangeland and will definitely be back.

Since they moved to new location you don't get alot of food like on Irby St. Small pieces of fish, that really dont taste that good and a long wait for your food.
I asked server for lemon for my tea, I observe her go to the table behind me where customers just left from eating and she(waitress) picked the lemon packets from trash of that table and bring back to me and placed on my table stating, "here you go" with the most disrespectful tone.. Ummm no ma'am. I told her that was not acceptable nor sanitary. Worse customer service!! I immediately asked for management. Owners wife tried justifying by stating, "I've known her since she was a baby," . What does that have to do with what my complaint is, ma'am? No, I apologizeand this happen again, just excuses.... Apparently, this is their practice. $30.00 later while food was not worth the metal tray it was on. Guess that you must order and pay before being seated... I will NEVER go back.
Great fresh fish lunch! Breading on fish sandwich was perfect with no greasy taste. And they have so many choices.
The food was horrible. Some of my fries were uncooked. My fish was tasteless. The old Orangeland food was much better. On top of that my meal was $15.00. What a waste.
If I could give them zero stars I would. I ordered 5 dinners on Friday night and 1 had hair in it, which was disgusting. After calling the restaurant numerous times (they do not answer their phone), leaving a voicemail, and messaging their fb page I got no callback. I called and spoke to Ali, the next morning who says he was the Manager and would call me back to rectify the issue! He also stated that they do not check their voicemail and that someone would be responding to my message as well. No call back, and I finally received a fb response and resolution 2 days later. Just nasty and poor customer service!
When entering the door the smell of rotten seafood hits you like a wave. the smell of the rotten seafood in the market is enough to make u vomit the service was horrible and slow the food was tasteless and undercooked the hush puppies were too sweet and everything was far FAR too greasy. My fish was old and my fries were tasteless my chicken was undercooked the only good part of my visit was my semi decent shrimp.
I had a long strand of hair in my catfish. Manager Ali did not show concern nor did he call me back with a solution. Will never give them my money again.
