It was hot inside we were dining in before my kids karate class. Flies everywhere. They got my order wrong. They weren't super busy but it took awhile to get our order. I felt bad some people who were even waiting to order left (was only 2 other people) , my kids couldn't eat the nuggets they tasted off (I tasted to check and they were not right). We won't be going back here. Not for awhile I'm sure. Ugh gross ?
It took 35 minutes to receive my order today at lunch, however I am still rating this store five stars because I can see that they care. The parking lot is well organized with signage and cones, the restroom was sparking clean, they have employees working outside in order to speed up the line, and everyone working was friendly while they tried to sort through the crazy lunch rush. Multiple managers were up front taking charge and giving instructions. I even heard one of them say “I don’t like my lobby like this”. Unlike other locations, I think management at this location wants to store to be successful. They are working diligently to serve the people of Florence, rather than hiding in their office. Well done, McDonald’s Irby street, maybe you can give some pointers to the awful location over by FMU
Yesterday afternoon, for mobile pill up at spot 4, waited for 15 min finally went in get the food. It was sitting all that time, no apology. But today, the morning crew was top notch for pick up mobile. Food wad great from today but not Yesterday afternoon. 4 stars for the morning crew.
Stopped here with the grandkids to get them something to eat while I waited on my wife at her appointment.First off the lady taking the order in the drive thru was so distracted by whatever was going on inside she had to ask me multiple times what I wanted.Next the young lady at the payment window couldn’t even look my way when handing the receipt and my card back to me. Like I was a bother to her for buying food there and supporting her job.Next at the food pickup window the lady there was just forcing the happy meals, food, and drinks out the window like it was a nascar pit stop. I understand the need for speed sometimes but damn ease up a little.The food really ended up not being worth what I paid for it. $26 for cold fries and greasy tasting chicken nuggets. I guess which is why they give you dipping sauce so you can cover up the taste.I haven’t eaten here in a long time and I remember why now.
This store does not double check the bag before it gets picked up by doordash. Today was the second time my order was short both food and drinks. Im sure im not the only person. There is no excuse for my orders having food or drinks missing 100% of the time i order there. DO BETTER!
I wait at the counter no one is there. When the guy comes he just looks at me like what are u waiting on. I order. Say thank you and get no response. He gives me an extra cup so I look at my receipt and see that I am charged for an extra drink that I didn't ask for. I tell him he says ok I wait forever then he gives me my food like whatever. I said ok now give me my money back for this drink I don't need.
So tonight 2/19/2022, I went to this McDonald's and order a 10 piece nugget meal, my son ordered a quarter pounder meal as well as my boyfriend. The cashier just rung up mines as a combo. Fast forward, I asked for a manager for a refund, well he wanted to know what was wrong, then told me he doesn't want to give the refund, he rather just give me the fries and drinks. After I thanked him and he went to the back the young, immature staff started picking, one said, that ugly jacket, know how I get down. The place has no authority, the ignorant kids are running the store whole the managers are in the back hiding. I'll never go here again and the owner needs to reevaluate his managers
Mangers rude as hell!!! Always have issues in the drive thru. Half the time they act like they don't have a screen to see what I order and always end up waiting longer than 30 minutes after they tell me to pull up to wait.
Our McMuffins we just as expected and very good. Consistency is key with McDonalds visits so we definitely will return in the future.
Although the service was friendly, I am not happy with my ending experience. I ordered a large coffee with my meal. They were making fresh coffee and had me to pull up. When the young girl came out to hand me my coffee, she was holding it from the top and as I went to get it from her in the middle of the cup, the lid popped off in the wind, in turn, the wind blew the coffee all over my car, she let go as it was very hot, hot coffee went down my jacket sleeve, burning my wrist, and it blew all inside my car. She did go in to get a new cup of coffee, but the experience was very frustrating. Heading to the car wash to clean and detail my car and also heading to the dry cleaner as my favorite pink shirt now has coffee all over it..... I know things happen, but that lid should have been on better.
