This was my first time eating here. The customer service was A1 and the food was even better. The amount of food was definitely worth the price. The price was even more reasonable. I'm definitely going to eat there again when I'm in the area. Greatness at its best!!!!
Our first time here and what a great experience. I highly recommend this place. The service was great and the food and portions were very good. Definitely coming back when in the area.
I have eaten there a few times, but this last time got my attention very much as I really looked at the meal, I got for the price it was. I got the large flounder meal and it turned out to be more than I could or wanted to eat by far. Had fries, Cole slaw, salad and two founder fillets. Well, my grands enjoyed the fries, and I was more than filled with the balance of the meal. My son in law has been a big fan of Jumping J's but I had never gotten seafood there before. I have eaten seafood in some seafood restaurants in the Seafood cities of Calabash and Murrells Inlet that was no better than my flounder was. On top of that the employees were great!!!
I’m quite impressed. They are about their business. I’m sitting in here as I write and love the vibe. The customers are in and out/at the tables. Attitudes are awesome! Since the pandemic, a lot of restaurants have really slacked up. These workers, cooks and front customers service looks to be about their business. It makes me feel good to experience this. Last week my food was good which encouraged my Choice today. I’m on my way home to enjoy my food. Thanks Jumping J’s! Feliz Navidad to the worker who made up her own words to the song. It was very yummy ??? and it was very clean even saw a employee wiping down counter in the back.. The staff here is very friendly and well kept.. I will be returning for more yumminess.
I just watched a viral video on Facebook with several roaches in the kitchen ( on top of the meat), meat stored incorrectly..too many violations to name! I'm glad someone shined the light on how and where your food is stored before you pay your hard earned money to buy it. I'm actually disgusted at the video
ONLY go here if you're truly hungry! Or bring a friend.... Because if you're not, that food just gonna go to waste! Huge portions, delicious food, super fast! These guys do not mess around when they say large meal! I mean look at that box of food! That's all shrimp, and it has two big pieces of fish at the bottom! I'm no man versus food but I can put down a good bit of food in a sitting and I could not finish this box of food. The only thing that I can say is I should have asked for more of their sauce, the dipping sauce. Everything in the meal was absolutely delicious and I would go there again and again and again!
I have been going to Jumping J's for many, many years. Best shrimp box in town and their chicken tenders are amazing. So many great things to choose from. The staff are always nice and they know everyone. It is like stopping to eat with family when you go there to eat.
What happens when you go buy something to eat for lunch that cost $15 and come to find out that the credit card machine is down. Then you go to your car and get cash now they don't have no change. I informed one of the supposed to be managers (Ashley)by phone. She has poor customer. I asked her how do they supposed to make money with no change and the credit card machine down. She informed me that they managed. What is that for a manager at a highly recommend place to say to a customer. She need to go back through some training.
Service and food here had really gotten bad over last couple of years… they have turned it around … great service, food is outstanding, portions are huge… fresh cooked and clean dining room . Employees have friendly attitudes… prices have gone up everywhere but this place gives you your money’s worth, no doubt!
