Stopped in for lunch today . Seated right away. Nice waitress. Ordered a club sandwich and my husband ordered a two piece chicken meal with two sides. We waited for 50 minutes and had to get food to go. Bread on my sandwich wasn’t toasted so it was soggy when I got to my destination. Limp fries. His chicken was over cooked and not very tasty. Won’t be back.
Just had some of the best chicken tenders I've had away from home. The sides were excellent and so was the service.
Went in to the restaurant a couple of weeks ago- service was wonderful! Food was excellent. However, tonight ordered to go. Got literally the same order- not even close to the same size or quality. Called and was told “while in the restaurant, they give more and fill the plate, however with to go food, they fill the small container only- it can be confusing”. The takeaway- don’t order To go unless you want half what you would get eating there, at the same price.
Ate a couple times at the old Pete’s so I had to try the new restaurant. Somewhat country atmosphere which can be good or bad depending on the circumstances but our waitress was friendly & easygoing, the cook brought out our food with much enthusiasm & the food was as delicious & well prepared as the first time. Prices are great!
Never visited the old location but I've been to the new location two times now and have been very pleased both times. Breakfast is so so good, I got the breakfast bowl (grits, scrambled eggs and a sausage patty cut on top with a made from scratch biscuit) The second time I tried their dinner (turkey & gravy, rice & gravy and fried okra) Veggie soup is delicious as well. You've made me into a regular now! Nice building and friendly employees
1st time at the new location. Food was as good as always! I had the Tuesday special of turkey and dressing. Delish. The inside is nicely designed. But the plants are missing.
Great food, great staff, we are always treated like family. We love the breakfast, lunch and dinner. let's not forget their deserts, delicious cakes and pies.
I ordered take out for my sister for her birthday. I ordered from the meat and three menu. My sister wanted fried grouper, mac and cheese, rice and gravy with a yeast roll. My order was fried chicken tenders, fried okra, mac and cheese and a yeast roll. I can only speak on the food I ordered. The chicken tenders as you can see in the picture are red, I’m thinking they put to much paprika in the flour, it was tough and had no flavor or seasoning. The mac and cheese was only ok and so was the okra and yeast roll. It had been a while since I’ve eaten at Pete’s, I think this will be my last time.
