As a Mexican American from San Diego, I consider myself a very harsh critic of authentic Mexican food. Especially here in the south. My family loved this restaurant. A lovely family oriented, small business (staff is amazing and very friendly). The food was excellent. Portion sizes were perfect in my opinion. I ordered an extra fifteen tamales and took them home. We love La Casita! Their food is excellent. The guacamole has big chunks of avocado and is always fresh. They also have a great salsa bar. They now have their liquor license so they can serve margaritas too. The last time I was there I got the enchilada trio which has chicken enchiladas with green salsa, red salsa, and mole. All of the sauces were awesome!
La Casita is hands-down the best Mexican restaurant in the Upstate. The food is consistently delicious and fresh. The owners/staff are super friendly too. I feel like I’m a guest in someone’s home when I eat there, not just the girl at table number five, ykwim?
They offer a very extensive menu. Bring a large party and enjoy lobster shrimp and crawfish. The salsa bar is interesting with salsas I havent seen elsewhere. Muy saborosito..My Mole Burrito was fanastico and gigante!The staff is very friendly. It feels like I am eating someone's little home.. La Casita.
Good basic Mexican food. Prepared more "home style", than "restaurant" style. Service was fast, and friendly. Our meals came to us hot and freshly made. Their menu is huge. Waiting on their license to serve drinks. The only negative is the level of seasoning. The food was good, but needed some help. Maybe more cilantro and more garlic? We'll be coming back and if you want a pretty good Mexican meal, come check them out. Right on Hwy. 135 across from the Easley Fire Department on the right. Give them a try.
This little restaurant is a nice local gem. The food was authentic Mexican and delicious. The atmosphere lacking but cozy. The mole' was complex and had all the flavor notes you would expect. The salsa bar had a pineapple habanero sauce that was tasty too. The prices were reasonable and the wait staff was excellent. It was funny however, they separated the "gringos" into a different room, despite being able to speak Spanish.
Great food, amazing service, most authentic Mexican food I've had in Easley, and great family run business. Definitely try the salsa bar!!! Such a great variety of salsas!
Hands down the best AUTHENTIC Mexican restaurant in the Upstate! My husband and I have visited many with such a claim but none compare to La Casita! Not even close. It is comfort Mexican food and just so delicious! We love their pollo fondido and fresh tamales. Their chips are always served fresh and warm. They are also such a sweet family! Their food has "the secret ingredient:" it's all done with love. So worth checking them out. You'll likely become a regular!
Severe gluten allergy here - this is the one restaurant in Easley that is safe for me to eat at and I don't have to think twice about. I have been here multiple times and never gotten sick. I clearly communicate my needs and can order the tacos and the choripollo. There are a few other things on the menu that I hope to try next. The family who own the restaurant are so sweet and happy to accommodate dietary needs when possible! Their food is delicious and is the best authentic Mexican food I had outside of Mexico!
My husband and I have been visiting Easley this past month and on two occasions enjoyed delicious meals, hospitality and service at La Casita!!If you like AUTHENTIC Mexican food, La Casita is the real deal.
