Terrible experience this morning. Got to Iron Horse at 8:17. As my wife and I were walking in a girl in the dining room uttered gah why are ppl coming in. They opened at 8. We went to the counter to order, instead of taking our order she continued to put down chairs and left us standing at the front. We waited a few minutes then left. What has happened to customer service these days?
Honestly love this place, but today I saw how far they were willing to go to serve their customers. Today I had a small order for the office, mine included, so I called it in on my way their. when I got to the old market square parking lot, I catch a glimpse of Iron Horse Steamers running from the parking lot. figured she was rushed for her shift. I get in to pay, the general manager is the one to take my payment, and I welcome her with "Good hustle out there". She laughs and informs me that after I ordered she was informed they were out of one ingredient. She took it upon herself to rush to another store to get the ingredient instead of calling me and asking I change my order. in my opinion, this is establishment is above ordinary service is what makes them shine. Don't get me wrong. The food is beyond delicious, as well. ☺️
I picked up food for a group of 4 eating at my mom's house tonight. We ordered 4 different sandwiches, sides and desserts. Wow....it was all delicious and we will certainly be visiting you again! Excellent service and excellent food!
Food was tasty, love the choice of bagel, bread, or croissant. Communication with the kitchen seems to be a repetitive mention in the reviews and we did have a couple of problems in that regard. I requested no onions but got them anyway, and one of my party had to wait for his order because they made the wrong item. Oddly they were out of tea. In the southeast, that's a crime! The Stumphouse is yummy. The blue cheese sets off the roast beef perfectly. Breakfast items are available any time, and that's my next plan. The decor is fabulous, the train theme is perfect for our railroad history in Easley. I saw a segment on the news about this place and was there the very next day. I'll definitely be going back. Park in Market Square and go through the back for a good view of the nice outdoor dining area.Second visit 3/16: I ordered the Benedict breakfast bagel. After the first bite, I realized the ham was missing. I had to wait on another one. Delicious once that was settled.
My brothers and my sister- in-love and I ate lunch here yesterday. The food was delicious, service was great and Mike came by our table to speak and make sure everything was good. We were so well pleased. We will definitely be back!
We had an awesome experience for breakfast last weekend! The service was great and food came out quickly. The inside is really nice and comfortable. We really liked both meals we ordered. Definitely gotta come back to try more.
Abby our cashier was very helpful and bright and cheery... they have a set menu to choose from or make your own bagel sandwich as well...salads made daily, sides were yummy we had the pineapple ? grape salad, fresh fruit and pasta salad ... I posted a full menu on pictures to look at...they have plenty of seating ...you could park in town Square and walk on a sunny day or parallel park anywhere you find a spot...it is located on the leftside of road off of hwy 8/hwy 135 just before hwy 93 intersection...inside is cozy and inviting almost like a coffee shop vibe to it...they do have flavored ☕️ 's ... bags of chips available, they do offer catering and have cheese/fruit/meat slices/nuts boards of your choice...seasonal boards to purchase as well...to go orders, pickUp, takeOut and dine in available... a good place to just hangout for awhile or grab and go...there are outSide searing available for warmer weather ...they have a many of sweet to eat, home made and look so yummy ? ... May your visit be just as good if not better than ours!!! A must see ? I would say...The SmithClan
After hearing many positive experiences on the internet, I decide to try it out. First impression the menu was hard to read, but they had a paper menu to read which made it somewhat easier. Then as we went to the counter to ask some questions and recommendations, my party of 3 guests were highly disturbed as an employee was waiting for some orders and she was yelling at the kitchen staff on where an order was then she walked behind the counter and started slamming things. After something was said by a guest she stated that it was a hard day, but no apology to the employees or guests. The quality of the food was alright as I had brown lettuce and was told the bagels weren’t made in house. I would recommend going to Greenville and getting better quality food and maybe a place that would at least show respect to their employees.
staff is nice, food is great and they actually have some gluten free options. very pleased
Just moved to Easley and we have not had a meal for 2 under $30 until today. Was able to get this wonderful meal right at $20. Pictured is the Ham and Swiss Steamer on Jalapeño and Cheddar Bagel paired beautifully with their tasty Potato Salad. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a $10 freshly made lunch. Also shout out to the wonderful wait staff! Never felt more welcome then while here.
