My wife and I love Freddie's. We used to visit the location on woodruff Rd in Greenville until they closed it. The burgers are always great, their burgers are what set them apart from other burger places. Sadly on our last visit the fries weren't fresh and rather cold which was disappointing since we drive an hour just to have a burger and fries from Freddie's. Still would recommend trying if you've never been, but might I suggest asking for fresh fries if it's not busy. Seems as though employees don't make fresh until they absolutely have to.
This was our first visit to Freddy’s and sadly our last. When we arrived, we were the only car in the drive through so I thought we would be served quickly. We waited more than 10 minutes on our food and it wasn’t even hot! The buns were stale and hard, the order wasn’t correct, even the drinks were watery. The customer service was as lukewarm as the food and as watered down as the drinks. Not a pleasant experience.
Food was tasty. However there could be some work done on cleanliness. Last time there the kitchen fans weren't working, the whole place was a cloud of smoke. The employees were spending more time visiting with others, whom I believe were off duty coworkers, than working.
Went through the drive thru and ordered a grilled chicken sandwich with cheese only. We had to turn the car off to save gas waiting for this simple order and when we finally got it it was ice cold, not room temperature, not Luke warm, it was ice cold chicken . This is a sandwich that cost 7 dollars. Usually this is a delicious chicken sandwich but damn.
Haven’t been to this location in about 6 months due to poor service and dirty conditions. A friend talked me in to giving it another chance since they had noticed a lot of new faces there. I was not disappointed. The place was clean. Burgers and fries were on point. Took a bit to get our order, but I’ll wait for good food. Whatever changes were made were definitely the right ones! I will be back and I will tell others about the improvements!
Our first time here. The food was awesome! We will definitely be back. The steak burgers were so good . They have good onion rings to.
We love Freddys. I could write a novel, but that would be overkill. Great super thin grilled burgers and the only place in town still serving a Chicago Dog!
DO NOT EAT HERE. I do not think I've ever seen a restaurant as filthy or disgusting as this one. If I could give 0 stars I would. The entire kitchen was a disaster (I can't even describe how disgusting it was). Most of the employees looked like they cared nothing of their appearance & some weren't even wearing uniforms & just had street clothes on. The employees cooking were handling food with their bare hands & I'm 90% sure one employee was vaping inside at the back of the kitchen. It is obvious no managers or employees care about their place of work. There is no way this restaurant is meeting food safety standards. So in conclusion, if you value your health at all DO NOT EAT HERE.
Delicious shoe string french fries! Perfectly cooked to a lovely golden color. Friendly customer service. Love their PBC&B concrete too! Definitely not a calorie friendly place, but an amazing splurge on a cheat day! Nom nom!
Very good service. Very good food. Really enjoyed lunch! Very clean dining area. Restrooms clean and well stocked.
