The chef put on one heck of a show for us! We went on Father's Day and had a blast! The food was great, and everyone left stuffed. Afterwards a good nap was in order. I would recommend this place! Prices were in line with other restaurants. Great time!

Love the food. Reasonably priced. I wish the location was bigger though, so it would not feel like you were sitting on top of each other. The staff was very friendly & professional.

This was the worst dozo’s experience I have ever had! The waitress was rude to the point you could tell she didn’t want to be at work that day….which is fine. No one wants to be at work on a Friday night…I get that…..what was not fine was the food…my wife used to work at the dozo’s in powdersville. And I absolutely loved it. Food was great. Service was great. And it has been our spot for years. Tonight we decided to give the one in Easley a shot. BAD IDEA. I got the volcano roll. My absolute favorite. And I don’t know if the fish has been sitting out or what. But the only thing worse than the smell was the taste….if you pull into the parking lot and see a stain in the first parking spot to the right of the door. That is where I threw up the entire $38 meal! If you are craving hibachi/sushi. Do yourself a favor and go to the one in powdersville.

Food was ok at best , forks we kept getting were dirty along with food stuck to bottom of plate , won't be back

My family and I love Dozo. We ate on the hibachi side. We thoroughly enjoyed the gentleman who cooked for us and entertained us with his tricks and jokes. The food is delicious!

It's the only place to sit down and have sushi without driving over to Greenville or Anderson,or eating in one of those weird quasiJapanese fastfood places you see in small SC towns, serving food on foam plates. That said, it was an odd experience. Greeting was awkward. They dont know what kinds of Sake they have. (Huh?)The sushi bar was fine, even pretty good. They should introduce the traditional paper order sheets with the pencils, they would sell more sushi. The menu has a good variety, and covers many hard to find things.I enjoyed the Rainbow Roll. The hamachi and ikura were both fresh. Izura (quail eggs) are not available. Sal's roll with scallops was huge and well-made. Satisfying. The Chirashi-don was acceptable, but could be better. In fairness, I ordered the Chirashi as a take away back in lockdown. They did their best, I'm sure. They have a good beer selection, including large bottle japanese beers. They should put their booze selections on a paper menu insert. As it is, you'll have an odd experience figuring out what they actually have to sell you.Easley has a hard time finding and hiring good staff. Somehow, this place manages to stay on point with good people.

Good food and sushi. Got the dragon roll but it felt too overcooked for me but some might like that. The prices were high for a low amount of food(14.95 for chicken hibachi and it was maybe half a breast if that) overall decent!

Absolutely LOVE Dozo and have since they opened. The sushi is always fresh and we are always treated like family. Yes we miss Mr Mike but the cook at Powdersville is just as good!!! We will continue to support Easley and Powdersville locations for years to come. Do yourself a favor and try the kracken roll. Who knew bacon and sushi went together?!?!?!?

Had a bad Dozo experience last night. Had reservations for 545pm for 9 kids going to semi dance. We Arrived at 530pm. After nicely asking about table updates…. And rudely being told you next for over 45 minutes. We finally left at a little after 640pm to find another place.

The food is always amazing! However, we went out for Valentine’s Day last night and we’re two ladies working the tables side. The shorter smaller one was doing ALL of the work and cleaning off the other waitresses tables while the other just watched while rolling her eyes. Unfortunately I had the lady that just watched as my server. I witnessed her toss straws all over a kid because she was too lazy to reach over and set them down gently. She also had a NASTY attitude from the time we arrived and left. I’ve never had this experience from here before and I understand that valentines and any other holiday can be stressful but coming from a server that’s where the money is, holidays. She was rude to every single one of her tables and honestly lucky she got a tip. I don’t even leave reviews but, yesterday was one for the books ?
