Always fast friendly service, I do call ahead...food is always great. My favorite place for hibachi steak & chicken

So I ordered #8 Teppanyaki Scallops - expressed I didn’t want hibachi or teriyaki but the #8 Item w/ broccoli and soy sauce that is clearly written on their drive thru menu … The guy said yes ma’am I understand & yet I was given hibachi scallop w/ no broccoli and when I made a complaint - I was told that they don’t even have teppanyaki on the menu - that it’s a typo and needs to be corrected - when went back and forth and I got so upset and the idiocies being spewed at me by the staff …. it was this most rudest and dumbest responses! They did eventually give me the broccoli but not without the worst attitudes!! I used to go here often but lately the food & service keeps declining and the prices keep going up …. Lost a customer tonight!

Sucks they are not vegetarian friendly, asked before ordering if they cook vegetables separately from meat and was told yes, get home and find steak in my vegetables.Explains why i got sick from eating they're food months ago. I understand that accidents happen but don't lie to the customer and then the owner dosn't even care.

I have had the joy as well as the pleasure of eating at Atami Express for many years, that is until yesterday December 1, 2021. I went through the drive thru, as I have so many times before. I had the teriyaki chicken and I noticed much more rice than usual on my plate, and I also noticed a lot less chicken, which was obviously replaced by intermixed sliced broccoli florets instead. There was also a lot less carrots than usual. The chicken was dry and overcooked as well. Needless to say that this trip was not at all an exceptional eating experience, nor what I have come to expect of Atami Express.

Used to be a decent place to eat, not anymore. Cheap plates, cheap silverware, only get a cup of sauce now instead of a bottle. But the worst is the fact they wont stick to the hours they say theyre open. The last 4 times ive tried to eat there during what they SAY is their business hours theyve been closed. As of writing this theyre currently closed 4hrs early, and with no other way of knowing theyre open other than calling (because they refuse to get with times and make any social media accounts) its just become a big waste of gas. I shouldnt have to call a place during their "hours of operation" just to make sure they are indeed open during the hours they say theyll be open.All in all the place has gone down hill and its pretty obvious they no longer want to be in business because they wont stay open. Been a repeat customer almost weekly since 2011, but ill be taking my money elsewhere from now on.

Nothing has changed this place has always been the bomb diggity of all Japanese places that I have ever been to in the whole country! And no I am not exaggerating and no I do not work for them or own the place LOL

The food here is great. I always get the teriyaki chicken. Always comes with more food than I can eat at one meal.

One of my absolute favorite places! Have been a customer for years! Food is always delicious and large portioned. And owners and staff are friendly and welcoming!

I almost want to say it's awful so that I can keep the secret, but it is actually dang good. Their carrots are incredible. I've never had bad food from there. Not once.
