My 1st visit was nice with a great waitress. She was extremely nice for being a new person on the job. My 2nd was totally a turn around in the bottom of the tank. Again this waitress was new a bit nervous which wasn’t a big thing to our family. The waitress was trying her best to serve us when an older employee yelled at her to get another guest order before placing our order, which she obediently did. Then my daughter for some reason looks in here glass of tea and there was a roach in it. We politely showed it to an older waitress and she pretended like it wasn’t there and got another glass of tea and came out and sort of just sat it on the edge of the table not saying a word. Then on a visit to the restrooms, again roaches. There was six people in our group we was seated at a small picnic table, but a table next to where we was seated became vacant, again the same older waitress walked by and my husband asked if we could move to that table, she responded with the statement of I don’t have time to clean it and walked off. At this time we had been there 45 mins with no service other than drinks and the new waitress went about serving the other tables that she was told to serve after she was at our table first. Very, very poor service and rude waitresses, except for the young lady that wear glasses, she is extremely nice. My husband paid for the drinks and she showed concern for what had happened. But the other waitresses need training with attitude adjustments. Not only the service sucks but there's a roach problem as well.
The restaurant was very busy because they were having the Riverfest in downtown Conway today. My husband and I stopped in for breakfast. Our first time. Everything was delicious! Excellent sourdough toast, very tasty bacon, great homefries. The waitress was very friendly. We are definitely going back for lunch!! Nice overall experience!
You simply can't beat the price for the quality of food you get. I highly recommend this place bang for buck.
My husband and I moved here seven years ago. This restaurant became our go to for breakfast and lunch at least twice a week. In the past several months we have seen a change in staff and service has become horrible. Waiting at least forty-five minutes, but today we left..a man came in twenty minutes after us and received his breakfast, two plates, before ours. We were told they had alot of breakfast sandwiches for carry out, but they always have. Something is not right and we will miss the Trestle, as well as the waitstaff, Marsha and Tara..
This was our first visit to the Trestle and we thoroughly enjoyed it. We ordered the Western Omelet with fried potatoes and salsa AND the Full Breakfast combo with grits, eggs, sausage and sourdough toast. Everything was great and the coffee was hot. We will return.
While exploring Conway, we stopped in for lunch; and ended up having one of our best meals during our four week Myrtle Beach stay. The facility is clean and well-maintained; with a historic restored downtown building ambiance. Our server, Heather, was friendly and attentive. The beef barley soup & chicken salad sandwich were excellent; and the Reuben & potato salad were wonderful (the slow cooked brisket in the sandwich was exceptional). We also had the loaded potato soup and Italian cream cake for take-out; both of which we truly enjoyed at a later time. After leaving the cafe, we walked down to the bakery and added tiramisu, cannolli, etc. to our take-out stash; all of which made the next couple of days nicely indulgent. If one finds themselves in Conway; a meal here is definitely an opportunity not to be missed.
My husband and I were visiting Conway from Savannah, GA where there is nothing but "great" food, so to find this place was an absolute treat. We went to the bakery on Monday and OMG! The cookies, buns, eclairs, all wonderful. We were tempted to return on Tuesday for breakfast. We love the cozy outside seating. Steve, the owner was a delight and took time to talk to us about a future event we were planning in May and of the server, Tara was the icing on top of the cake. She was delightful. The food was amazing and large proportions. OMG! It feels good to come to a place where everyone is pleasant and positive. I loved this place and can't wait to return to Conway for round 2 in May. What a pleasant surprise!
Ate here on a whim. They're open late Thur-Sun during December for Conway Christmas. Ate outside in December in the evening. It was delightful! Had the soup - homemade red, seafood chowder & sandwich, BTL We had a Ruben as well. Portions are huge...took a doggie bag Food is fresh & delicious. Their carrot cake is one of the best we've ever had!
This bakery is so darn good...I can't get enough of it! I will drive all the way from Myrtle Beach to have their donuts, cinnamon buns, apple sticks, tiramisu, chocolate cakes and cannolis. They also have cookies, bread......I can go on forever. Nothing like it anywhere!
Can’t really see our wedding cake in this picture it doesn’t do it any justice but it was very delicious and everyone enjoyed it… they were fast and available for last minute for my wedding cake and it turned out beautifully and very delicious and very cake worthy for cake throwing lol highly recommend them
