We loved the pickled cucumber. The food was delish, the staff was amazing and we liked the backround music! Those burgers were yummy!
Southern comfort food best describes the Pickled Cucumber restaurant located in downtown Conway. The staff is friendly and makes you feel like your at home. The menu stays pretty much the same each day with a meat plus one, two, or three sides being the standard fare. In addition, you will find a variety of burgers, sandwiches, wraps and salads on the menu. The Pickled Cucumber also changes things up by adding a different meat plus item to the menu and a daily lunch special if your looking for something different to try. We both enjoyed our meals and will definitely return to sample more from the menu. Enjoy!

Outstanding! Everything homemade. The pork tenderloin melted in your mouth. Potato salad,coleslaw, cucumber tomato salad all great. Better than Mama's cooking!
This place was packed! We ordered to go. Ordered chicken and dumplings with black eyed peas and potato casserole. Small piece of sweet cornbread is included. My partner ordered chicken fried steak with gravy, collard greens and broccoli salad. Expect leftovers, portion sizes are huge. Chicken and dumplings were bland and the gravy pasty. Potato casserole was a bit dry. Cornbread was great, wish it was a bigger piece. Tried my partners chicken fry, again a bit dry and lacking seasoning. It wasn't all that bad, just could use a bit more seasoning. Service was great and very fast.
Food is good but went in for lunch and they had a kid in a pack-n-play. He was between the kitchen and dining room next to the drink station, which not only puts the kid at risk but is very unsanitary. I understand people can’t find someone to watch their kids but a restaurant kitchen area is not the place. So much can happen. How does the kid feel in there too? Probably not the best. Just not a good look at all.
First time here, got take out. Great service and food. My only complaint would be the tiny square of corn bread. Was kind of a tease. I love corn bread and if your going to give it then make it count. Otherwise good portions.
If you like "country cooking" or "soul food" or "comfort food" you will love this place. No frills but comfortable and clean dining room. GREAT FOOD, menu varies. GREAT HOSPITALITY. GREAT VALUE. I stopped on my way to the coast, and on my way back home. Look at the pictures. Everything tasty.
A must stop on the way to or from Myrtle Beach. The food here is excellent. It’s fast, priced well, hot and delicious. We found this gem a few years ago and it’s become a must have on every beach trip. The service is top notch and the food arrives fresh and quick.
