Good customer service and help me to pick out some good fish
The food is good. But whoever the man is that takes the phone orders, doesn’t need to handle that anymore. He was so rude. And if it wasn’t for the fact that I didn’t want anybody doing anything to my food, I definitely would’ve cussed him out. So yeah. Maybe y’all should just keep him in the kitchen before he gets his feelings hurt by the right one ?
Really good fried seafood; only one soft drink available (Diet Coke). Picnic tables could use a regular cleaning (pressure washing).
Would of given 4 stars but a shrimp and flounder platter had one small piece 2x3 flounder. It needed more flounder for that cost. Shrimp was good though.
We were excited to try this place in Conway as we thought it would be fresh seafood, plus had planned on bringing some back to grill out. . When we went to order we looked at the list and asked for catfish, didnt have it. Then asked for soft shell crab, didn't have it. We asked for 3 other items and was told they didn't have it. Finally we found 3 things they did have. It would have been alot easier to initially tell us hey we are out of blah blah but we do have this. Instead it was a guessing game. Then asked for drinks...they didnt have them. She said shes waiting on the truck? I said do you have water and the woman responded bottled. So we ordered that. When the order was ready we were the only people there. She steps out and yells 21. I said is that ours and she handed it to me. I said we ordered water. We were told to get it ourselves out of the cooler inside. ( you order outside). It was all kind of funny. Flounder was ok. Breaded nicely and not greasy. Shrimp were small, light breading. Scallops were ok. Sides of french fries and small slaw nothing special. All and all a disappointing experience. I dont know if we hit a bad day or what, but dont go out of your way to try them. There are plenty of nice seafood restaurants around.
Wonderful food! Tasty, made well and super good! Lots if it, too! 1 order enough for 2 meals! A hidden treasure 1/2 block from rt 501/Main St! Easy to get to, lots of parking! Love the atmosphere along the Mackawaw River! Perfect for Conway SC.
The food is good. The place is a little hole-in-the-wall shack. The lady that cooks isn't very friendly at all. You can buy fresh fish there too.
