Lived off this place for 5 years back in college. I crave it all the time. I am contemplate making a trip across the country just to eat here again.
I was placed on hold for 11 minutes! Then while my daughter in law waited to pick up for me almost an hour, she was denied sushi and teriyaki chicken which they both have listed on their menu. To say I’m livid is an understatement. I will be going elsewhere. They really have gone downhill fast!
I normally don’t write negative reviews but this was honestly sad. I’ve worked in the food industry my entire life and this is some of the worst service I’ve ever seen. Coming from a party animal degenerate at coastal Carolina.
Worse service I’ve ever had, totally unprofessional. Walked in no greeting, walked to bathroom in a clearly public facility & man at front desk never said anything, but just watched secretly. When he did show up to the counter he was lazy and didn’t want to take my order. Asked could I go to the bathroom and he laughed and said no. To which I replied really???He completed my order in an awkward manner, then handed it to me without eye contact. I said thank you kindly and have a nice day. To which he walked away with no response. Glad it was a door dash I was picking up for someone, I’d would never eat here smh…
We got the food to go and only took 20 mins, chicken bowls and noodles were cooked perfectly and tested fantastic, we will definitely be eating here again.
Absolutely the worst service, on phone and in person. Poor quality manners and food. To hang up on a customer as I’m trying to express how my order is wrong regardless if 1. It was ordered wrong or 2. It was heard wrong doesn’t give you the right to make something completely different. I don’t eat rice. I would never order rice. General Tao chicken comes sauce not just fried. To tell me “it’s Japanese Food it looks different” is absurd- rice and noodles do not look the same no matter what- never again and I’ll do my best to be sure everyone else is a never again. Just terrible - Poor college kids are getting ripped off. Assuming that’s their target point of customers-
Don’t waste your money. I asked for extra sauce first of all and I got 2 cups of sauce and then got rudely stared at when I asked to buy more and proceeded to only hand me one more cup. I’m sorry but extra means extra. Then paid 10 dollars for a steak bowl only to receive a bowl of rice with like 3 pieces of steak in it. Just don’t waste your money.
I should have read reviews before I went. They lived up to the 2.5 rating. Place ain't been cleaned for years. Nasty! Won't never go again. SMH
I have ordered several times and every time my food is wrong I order extra steak and rice and never get it. Even tho I pay for it so I called and they made every excuse why it wasn't there fault horrible customer service and horrible food quality I got less meat on mine them my girlfriend and she didn't order extra.
