This place seemed good online but ...im gonna bring it down to earth.I didn't enjoy anything I ordered.Tomato soup tasted a bit acidic, like they opened a can and poured it on my plate.Spinach artichoke dip tasted like store bought spicy nacho dip..nothing at all like a spinach artichoke dip.And the pizza... disappointing. The undercarriage was just pure char..they should clean the oven once or twice. The center of the pizza was wet and droopy which leads me to believe it was frozen dough.
Hostess was very nice. Seated quickly. Pizza was fine. Salad was fresh. Those are the pros.Cons? A lot. Place wasn't anywhere near busy. Tons of staff. Our waitress didn't come back very often. A pizza and a salad took nearly a half hour to come out. Chicken on the salad was SO salty. Like, spam with salt on it salty. I like salt so that's saying something. Couldn't eat it.
Tonight was my first time trying Za’s and I can’t say enough things about how wonderful my experience was! I sat at the bar and the atmosphere was just what I needed. Kerry and Zander were so friendly and helpful to not only me but everyone around that I could see. They highly recommended the spinach artichoke dip and the Devine pizza and I understand why! Very satisfied with everything tonight. Also might be my new go-to spot for espresso martini’s… safe to say I’ll definitely be back soon!
5 stars because everything was wonderful. The staff, the timing, the food... But listen here...?...we ordered the okra as an appetizer and while it was delicious...ya'll need to take it off the menu. Imagine paying $5 for an appetizer and they bring you a plate of 10-12 green beans. ??? It was like 1 mouthful of okra.
This was probably the worst pizza I’ve ever had. Ordered a veggie pizza to go, the veggies weren’t even cooked all the way through and the bread was barely cooked. I was extremely disappointed with this. I never leave poor reviews. A frozen pizza would’ve been better than theirs.
I understand that they have been shortstaffed for a while and that's understanding but today I wasted a whole lunch break and still got no food after having to send a salad back twice that was wrong. The waitress was VERY rude, basically threw our check at us and we never even saw a manager or got an apology. They brought my salad in a to go container that I left because it STILL was not right. I sat and watched my husband eat for an hour. Probably the worst lunch experience to date. An apology for the wrong food would have been a start. So disappointed.
Don't know where to begin, my friend ordered the Cajun Pasta and don't know where they left the Cajun seasoning at because there was no flavor at all! I ordered the tomatoe soup bisque and it was awful, very thick it burned my stomach, super acidity. We ordered a drink and the drink never came. We really had high hopes for this place and we left in complete disappointment.The server wasn't much help at all! Honestly doesn't even deserve a 1 star.
So we have been looking for a good brick oven pizza house around Columbia and this is the only real brick oven place. We decided to try today, but apparently they cannot handle big parties well and do not staff enough.Our waitress took forever to do anything because she was handling too many tables. Our food was very late, the wings we ordered were hot and very good, but they were not tossed in the sauce, the sauce was ice cold on side.Our blackened pasta was cold, absolutely no flavor or seasoning. The shrimp were barely warm but at least looked seasoned. We sent the whole dish back and got an 8" pizza instead.On top of all that they have a staff member who wears his pants like a street walker showing all his rear end underwear, which is disgusting gross.And we were allowed to leave with no manager coming to see us or anything. It really looked like there was no leadership or managers on the floor.No thanks
CAROLINA CARBONARA PASTA -Canned Chicken marinated in what tastes like Dog food.Military Discount changes everytime we eat there. This time you had to be in uniform.Very very disappointing, we thought we had a good local place to eat.Pizza is good
Extremely slow food arrival though believe staff just stretched too far like most places. Waitress was very nice. The food was not a decent value for the money plus the pizza just wasn't that good.
